[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ asked about a man and said, "Who knows him?" A man among them said, "I do." He asked, "What is his name?" The man replied, "I don't know." He asked, "What is his father's name?" The man replied, "I don't know." He asked, "What is his clan?" The man replied, "I don't know." The Prophet said, "You should not be acquainted with him until you know his name, his father's name, and his clan. If he falls ill, you should visit him, and if he dies, you should follow his funeral procession."  

الطبراني:١٣٢٣٧حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْعَسْكَرِيُّ ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ السَّامِيُّ ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ قَهْرَمَانُ آلِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

سَأَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَنْ رَجُلٍ فَقَالَ «مَنْ يَعْرِفُهُ» فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْهُمْ أَنَا قَالَ «اسْمُهُ؟» قَالَ لَا أَدْرِي قَالَ «مَا اسْمُ أَبِيهِ؟» قَالَ لَا أَدْرِي قَالَ «فَمَنْزِلُهُ؟» قَالَ لَا أَدْرِي قَالَ «لَيْسَتْ هَذِهِ بِمَعْرِفَةٍ حَتَّى تَعْرِفَ اسْمَهُ وَاسْمَ أَبِيهِ وَقَبِيلَتَهُ إِنْ مَرِضَ عُدْتَهُ وَإِنْ مَاتَ اتَّبَعْتَ جِنَازَتَهُ»
