[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said about wiping over the socks: "For the resident, it is valid for one day and one night, and for the traveler, it is valid for three days and nights."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ لِلْمُقِيمِ وَثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهُنَّ لِلْمُسَافِرِ
[Machine] "From the Prophet ﷺ regarding wiping over the two socks, he said: For the traveler, three days and nights and for the resident, one day and night."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ قَالَ لِلْمُسَافِرِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ وَلِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded wiping over the footwear during the Battle of Tabuk for a period of three days for travelers and their nights, and for residents, one day and one night."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَمَرَ بِالْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ لِلْمُسَافِرِ وَلَيَالِيهِنَّوَلِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ allowed three days and nights for the traveller and one day and night for one who is not travelling (i.e., with regard to wiping over the khuffain or leather slippers) (Using translation from Aḥmad 1126)
«جَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيَهُنَّ لِلْمُسَافِرِ وَيَوْمًا وَلَيْلَةً لِلْمُقِيمِ» يَعْنِي الْمَسْحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prescribed wiping over the socks for three days and nights for the traveler, and one day and night for the resident."

[Machine] The last group of fighters who went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us to wipe over our footwear. "For the traveler, three days and nights, and for the resident, one day and night, as long as he does not take them off."
آخِرُ غَزَاةٍ غَزَوْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَمَرَنَا أَنْ نَمْسَحَ عَلَى خِفَافِنَا «لِلْمُسَافِرِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ وَلِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ مَا لَمْ يَخْلَعْ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "Wiping over the two socks is for the resident for one day and night, and for the traveler for three days and their nights."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «الْمَسْحُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ لِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ وَلِلْمُسَافِرِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ»

[Machine] We went on a raid with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he instructed us to wipe over our socks for three days and nights for the traveler, and for a day and night for the resident, as long as they do not take them off. This was done uniquely by Umar ibn Rudadh, and it is not preferred.
غَزَوْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَمَرَنَا بِالْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيَهَا لِلْمُسَافِرِ وَيَوْمًا وَلَيْلَةً لِلْمُقِيمِ مَا لَمْ يَخْلَعْ تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ عُمَرُ بْنُ رُدَيْحٍ وَلَيْسَ بِالْقَوِيِّ
"المسح على الخفين للمقيم يومٌ وليلةٌ، وللمسافر ثلاثةُ أَيامٍ ولياليهن ".
"عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ: أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ فِى الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ: ثَلاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ لِلْمُسَافِرِ، وَيَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ لِلْمُقِيمِ".
"عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وهبٍ قال: كتب إِلينا عُمَرُ أن نَمسحَ على الخُفَّينِ: للمسافر ثلاثةَ أيامٍ ولَيَاليِهنَّ، وللمقيمِ يَومٌ ولَيْلَةٌ".
"عن عمر قال: سمعت النبى ﷺ يأمر بالمسح على ظهر الخفِّ للمسافر ثلاثةَ أيامٍ وليالِيهن، وللمقيم يومٌ وليلةٌ".
"عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِى الْمَسْح عَلَى الْخُفيْنِ قَالَ: ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ لِلمُسَافِرِ، وَيَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ لِلمُقِيمِ".
" أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ جَعَلَ للْمُسَافِرِ يَمسَحُ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ، وَلِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمًا وَليْلَةً".
