"عن على قال: لمَّا تَزَّوَجْتُ فَاطمَةَ قلتُ: يَا رَسُولَ الله: ابْنِ بِى، قال: أعطِهَا شيْئًا. قُلتُ: مَا عِنْدِى شئٌ، قَالَ: فَأَيْنَ دِرْعُكَ الحُطَميةُ؟ قلت: هِىَ عِنْدِى، قال: فأعطِها إياهَا".
