"I got married to Fatimah, may Allah be pleased with her, and I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, let me consummate the marriage.' He said: 'Give her something.' I said: 'I do not have anything.' He said: 'Where is your Hutami armor?' I said: 'It is with me.' He said: 'Give it to her.'"
تَزَوَّجْتُ فَاطِمَةَ ؓ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ابْنِ بِي قَالَ أَعْطِهَا شَيْئًا قُلْتُ مَا عِنْدِي مِنْ شَىْءٍ قَالَ فَأَيْنَ دِرْعُكَ الْحُطَمِيَّةُ قُلْتُ هِيَ عِنْدِي قَالَ فَأَعْطِهَا إِيَّاهُ
"When Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, married Fatimah, may Allah be pleased with her, the Messenger of Allah said to him: 'Give her something.' He said: 'I do not have anything.' He said: 'Where is your Hutami armor?'"
لَمَّا تَزَوَّجَ عَلِيٌّ ؓ فَاطِمَةَ ؓ قَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَعْطِهَا شَيْئًا قَالَ مَا عِنْدِي قَالَ فَأَيْنَ دِرْعُكَ الْحُطَمِيَّةُ
[Machine] "I married Fatimah and I asked the Messenger of Allah: 'Should I have children?' He said, 'Do you have something to give her?' I said, 'No.' He said, 'Where is your Hutmeyah shield?' I said, 'I have it.' He said, 'Then give it to her.'"
تَزَوَّجْتُ فَاطِمَةَ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ابْنِنِي؟ قَالَ «عِنْدَكَ شَيْءٌ تُعْطِيهَا؟» فَقُلْتُ لَا قَالَ «أَيْنَ دِرْعُكَ الْحُطَمِيَّةُ؟» قُلْتُ عِنْدِي قَالَ «اعْطِهَا إِيَّاهَا»

تَزَوَّجْتُ فَاطِمَةَ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ابْنِ لِي قَالَ «أَعْطِهَا شَيْئًا» قَالَ مَا عِنْدِي شَيْءٌ قَالَ «فَأَيْنَ دِرْعُكَ الْحُطَمِيَّةُ؟» قُلْتُ عِنْدِي قَالَ «فَأَعْطِهَا إِيَّاهُ» خَالَفَهُ سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ

ؓ لَمَّا تَزَوَّجْتُ فَاطِمَةَ ؓ بِنْتَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قُلْتُ ابْنُ أَبِي يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ أَعْطِهَا شَيْئًا فَقُلْتُ أَثِبْنِي يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا عِنْدِي شَيْءٌ قَالَ فَأَيْنَ دِرْعُكَ الْحُطَمِيَّةُ؟ قَالَ قُلْتُ هَا هِيَ ذِي عِنْدِي قَالَ أَعْطِهَا إِيَّاهَا
"عن على قال: لمَّا تَزَّوَجْتُ فَاطمَةَ قلتُ: يَا رَسُولَ الله: ابْنِ بِى، قال: أعطِهَا شيْئًا. قُلتُ: مَا عِنْدِى شئٌ، قَالَ: فَأَيْنَ دِرْعُكَ الحُطَميةُ؟ قلت: هِىَ عِنْدِى، قال: فأعطِها إياهَا".
"عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: لَمَّا تَزَوَجَ عَلِىٌّ فَاطِمَةَ، قَالَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ : أَعْطِهَا شَيْئًا؟ قَالَ: مَا عِنْدِى، قَالَ: فَأَيْنَ دِرْعُكَ الحُطَمِيَّةُ".
