[Machine] About the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , it was asked regarding the fasting of Arafah. He said, "It expiates the sins of the preceding year and the sins of the following year."

الطبراني:٥٠٨٩ – حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ الْمِصْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْخَلِيلِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنْ صِيَامِ عَرَفَةَ؟ قَالَ «يُكَفِّرُ السَّنَةَ الَّتِي أَنْتَ فِيهَا وَالسَّنَةَ الَّتِي بَعْدَهَا»
