Concerning the words of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime: "Seven of Al-Mathani (seven repeatedly-recited): "The seven long ones."  

النسائي:٩١٦أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

فِي قَوْلِهِ ﷻ { سَبْعًا مِنَ الْمَثَانِي } قَالَ السَّبْعُ الطُّوَلُ

This hadith is narrated on the authority of Abu Ya'fur with the same chain of transmitters, and he mentioned seven expeditions.

[Machine] In His saying "And indeed, We have given you, [O Muhammad], seven of the often repeated [verses]", He said, "These are the seven often repeated [verses]".
