(The sub narrator asked Naf'i, "For what did the Prophet ﷺ take their pledge of allegiance, was it for death?" Naf'i replied "No, but he took their pledge of allegiance for patience.")

لاَ بَايَعَهُمْ عَلَى الصَّبْرِ
