"Khamr was forbidden in and of itself, in small or large amounts, as was every kind of intoxicating drink." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5685)
[Machine] "Indeed, wine itself is prohibited and intoxication from every type of drink."
[Machine] "Wine in itself, both small and large amounts of it, and whatever intoxicates from every beverage, is prohibited."
Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever drinks alcoholic drinks in the world and does not repent (before dying), will be deprived of it in the Hereafter." (Using translation from Bukhārī 5575)
"I heard 'Umar bin Al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, on the Minbar of the Messenger of Allah [SAW], say: 'The prohibition of Khamr was revealed when it was made from five things: From grapes, wheat, barley, dates and honey.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5579)
I heard ʿUmar while he was on the pulpit of the Prophet ﷺ saying, "Now then O people! The revelation about the prohibition of alcoholic drinks was revealed; and alcoholic drinks are extracted from five things: Grapes, dates, honey, wheat and barley. And the alcoholic drink is that which confuses and stupefies the mind." (Using translation from Bukhārī 4619)
"Alcoholic drinks are prepared from five things, i.e., raisins, dates. wheat, barley and honey." (Using translation from Bukhārī 5589)
"Alcoholic drinks are prepared from five things, i.e., raisins, dates. wheat, barley and honey." (Using translation from Bukhārī 5589)
[Machine] Wine is made from five things - dates, wheat, barley, honey, and grapes. Abu Abdur Rahman said that Ibrahim ibn al-Muhajir disagreed with them.
“From wheat comes wine, from barley comes wine, from raisins comes wine, from dates comes wine and from honey comes wine.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3379)
