[Machine] Amr bin Abi Aasim An-Nabeel narrated to us, he said: my father narrated to us, he said: Abdullah bin Hameed bin Jafar narrated to us, he said: Saleh bin Abi Urayb narrated to us, from Kathir bin Murrah, from Auf bin Malik Al-Ashja'i, he said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us with a stick in his hand and hanging on it were scraps. One of them was a piece of cloth. He stabbed the stick in the scrap, and then he said: "If Allah had willed, He could have given this charity with something better than it. Indeed, the one who owns this charity would eat this piece of cloth on the Day of Resurrection." Then, he turned towards us and said: "By Allah, O people of Madinah, you will soon leave it for the diseases. Do you know what diseases are?" We said: "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said: "Birds and beasts."
