bayhaqi:1437Abū ʿAbdullāh al-Ḥāfiẓ > Abū Bakr Aḥmad b. Kāmil al-Qāḍī Bibaghdād

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever washes him/her, performs the ritual washing, and whoever carries him/her, performs ablution, meaning in the case of the deceased and the funeral."  

البيهقي:١٤٣٧كَمَا أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ كَامِلٍ الْقَاضِي بِبَغْدَادَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ الضَّرِيرُ الثِّقَةُ الْمَأْمُونُ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَحْفَظِ النَّاسِ ثنا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ثنا سُهَيْلُ بْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ مَخْلَدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ غَسَّلَهُ الْغُسْلُ وَمَنْ حَمَلَهُ الْوُضُوءُ يَعْنِي فِي الْمَيِّتِ وَالْجِنَازَةِ كَذَا  

رَوَاهُ وَلَا أُرَاهُ حَفِظَهُ
