[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Sham (Greater Syria) will be opened for you. And when you are given the choice of dwellings in it, then choose the city known as Damascus, for it is the stronghold of the Muslims from the battles and its outskirts extend to a land called Al-Ghouta."

أحمد:١٧٤٧٠ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَصْحَابُ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ سَتُفْتَحُ عَلَيْكُمُ الشَّامُ فَإِذَا خُيِّرْتُمُ الْمَنَازِلَ فِيهَا فَعَلَيْكُمْ بِمَدِينَةٍ يُقَالُ لَهَا دِمَشْقُ فَإِنَّهَا مَعْقِلُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ مِنَ الْمَلَاحِمِ وَفُسْطَاطُهَا مِنْهَا بِأَرْضٍ يُقَالُ لَهَا الْغُوطَةُ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard saying, "On the day of the Great Battle, the Muslims will be spread out in a land called Al-Ghouta. In it, there is a city called Damascus, which is the best dwelling place for Muslims on that day."

الحاكم:٨٤٩٦ – أَخْبَرَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ الْعَنَزِيُّ ثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ وَهْبٍ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثَنَا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي خَالِدُ بْنُ دِهْقَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ زَيْدَ بْنَ أَرْطَأَةَ الْفَزَارِيَّ يَقُولُ إِنَّهُ سَمِعَ جُبَيْرَ بْنَ نُفَيْرٍ الْحَضْرَمِيَّ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الدَّرْدَاءِ يَقُولُ إِنَّهُ

سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «يَوْمَ الْمَلْحَمَةِ الْكُبْرَى فُسْطَاطُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ بِأَرْضٍ يُقَالُ لَهَا الْغُوطَةُ فِيهَا مَدِينَةٌ يُقَالُ لَهَا دِمَشْقُ خَيْرُ مَنَازِلِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ يَوْمَئِذٍ»

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ صحيح
