the Prophet forbade selling fresh dates still on the tree for dried dates. Ibn 'Umar said: "Azid bin Thabit narrated to me, that Messenger of Allah permitted that in the case o 'Ayaya"' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4532)
"How long was there between them?" He said: "As long as it takes a man to recite fifty verses." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2155)
[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ designated the Umrah for the heirs and once said that the Umrah is sufficient.
[Machine] For me, the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , interested in learning Syriac? Verily, books in the Syriac language come to me." I said, "No." He said, "Then learn it." So I learned it in seventeen days.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If this is your condition, do not overwork the farmers." Then Rafe' heard him say, "Do not overwork the farmers."
I went to Ubayy b. Ka’b and said him : I am confused about Divine decree, so tell me something by means of which Allah may remove the confusion from my mind. He replied : were Allah to punish everyone in the heavens and in the earth. He would do so without being unjust to them, and were he to show mercy to them his mercy would be much better than their actions merited. Were you to spend in support of Allah’s cause an amount of gold equivalent to Uhud, Allah would not accept it from you till you believed in divine decree and knew that what has come to you could not miss you and that what has missed you could not come to you. Were you to die believing anything else you would enter Hell. He said : I then went to ‘Abd Allah b. MAs’ud and he said something to the same effect. I next went to Hudhaifah b. al-Yaman and he said something to the same effect. I next went to Zaid b. Thabit who told me something from the Prophet (May peace be upon him) to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4699)
[Machine] I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he said, "May Allah brighten the face of a person who hears from us a hadith and memorizes it until he conveys it to others, for many carriers of knowledge are not knowledgeable themselves, and many carriers of knowledge pass it on to others who are more knowledgeable than them. There are three qualities that a Muslim's heart should never be deprived of: sincerity in actions for the sake of Allah, advising the rulers, and remaining in the congregation. Indeed, their supplication encompasses those behind them. He also said, "Whoever's main concern is the Hereafter, Allah will bring together his affairs, make contentment in his heart, and the world will come to him while he is in need. And whoever's intention is the world, Allah will scatter his affairs, make poverty between his eyes, and he will only receive from the world what was destined for him." We also asked about the middle prayer, which is the Dhuhr prayer.
I recited An-Najm before the Prophet, yet he did not perform a prostration. (Using translation from Bukhārī 1073)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , performed the prayer of fear on a land of the Banu Sulaym tribe. The people lined up behind him in two rows: one row facing the enemy and the other row behind him. He prayed a unit of prayer with the row behind him, then those behind them switched places with those in front, and he prayed another unit of prayer with them.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed the prayer of fear and mentioned a similar narration to the narration of Ibn Abbas.
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to be in a room and he would go out to pray in it. His companions noticed this and started praying with his prayer.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to offer the Zuhr prayer in midday heat; and no prayer was harder on the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that this one. Hence the revelation came down: "Be guardians of your prayers, and of the midmost prayer" (2:238). He (the narrator) said: There are two prayers before it and two prayers after it. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 411)
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "If an old man and an old woman commit adultery, stone them to death immediately." Umar said, when this verse was revealed, I went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "Should I write it down?" Shu'bah said, it seemed as if he disliked it. Umar said, "Do you not see that when an old man commits adultery, he is flogged, and when a young man commits adultery and is married, he is stoned to death."
a wolf bit a sheep so he slaughtered it with Marwah, and the Prophet allowed him to eat it. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4400)
"Perform Wudu' from that which has been heated with fire." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 178)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out to Uhud, and some people went out with him. Among the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ were two groups, one group saying that they should be killed and another group saying no. So Allah ﷻ revealed, "What is [the matter] with you [that you are] divided concerning the hypocrites? Allah has cast them back [into disbelief] for what they have earned. Do you wish to guide those whom Allah has sent astray? And he whom Allah sends astray - for him you will never find a way [to guidance]." (Quran 4:88) So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Verily, it is a good thing and it banishes evil just as fire banishes the impurity of silver."
[Machine] "To glorify thirty-three times and praise thirty-three times after each prayer, and to declare takbeer (saying Allahu Akbar) thirty-four times. Then, a man came in a dream from the Ansar (helpers of Prophet Muhammad) and he was asked, 'Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ order you to glorify thirty-three times and praise thirty-three times after each prayer?' The Ansari in his dream replied, 'Yes.' So he was asked, 'Make it twenty-five times and twenty-five times and include the tahleel (saying La ilaha illallah).' When the Prophet ﷺ woke up in the morning, he informed him and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'So do it.'"
[Machine] "I used to write for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he said to me, 'Write: "Not equal are those believers remaining [at home] - other than the disabled - and the mujahideen in the cause of Allah" (Quran 4:95).' Then Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum came and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, I love to participate in jihad for the sake of Allah, but I have lost my eyesight and cannot see.' Zaid said, 'So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked me to place his hand on my thigh, and I was afraid of offending him so I hesitated. Then he said, "Write: 'Not equal are those believers remaining [at home] - other than the disabled and the mujahideen in the cause of Allah'" (Quran 4:95).'"
[Machine] He informed him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited to him the verse, "Not equal are those believers remaining [at home]" (Quran 4:95), and he mentioned the hadith.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , prayed one night and the people in the mosque heard his prayer. The following night, there were even more people and the voice of the Messenger of Allah became faint to them, so they started whispering and moving closer to him. The Messenger of Allah noticed them and said, "Why do you keep doing what you are doing? I was afraid that it would be prescribed for you, even though it is not obligatory. The best prayer a person can offer is in their own home, except for the obligatory prayer."
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: Allah's curse to be on the Jews, they made the graves of their Prophets mosques. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3227)
[Machine] "While we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ one day, he said 'Glad tidings for Sham, glad tidings for Sham.' I asked, 'What is the matter with Sham?' He replied, 'The angels are spreading their wings over Sham.'"
[Machine] While we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , we were compiling the Qur'an from pieces of parchment. He said, "Glad tidings for Sham!" It was asked, "Why, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Verily, the angels of the Most Merciful are spreading their wings over it."
[Machine] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ observed Itikaf in the mosque. I said to Ibn Lahia'ah, 'In the mosque of his house?' He said, 'No, in the mosque of the Messenger ﷺ ."
[Machine] Marwan, didn't I see you shorten your Maghrib prayers? I saw the Prophet ﷺ reciting from Al-A'raf in it.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ looked towards the direction of Yemen and said, "O Allah, turn their hearts towards us." Then, he looked towards another direction and said, "O Allah, turn their hearts towards us and bless our Sana'a and our Madinah."
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "If Allah were to punish the inhabitants of His heavens and the inhabitants of His earth, He would have done so without being unjust to them. And if He were to have mercy upon them, His mercy would be better for them than their own actions. And if you were to spend gold equal to the size of Mount Uhud (in charity), it would not be accepted by Allah until you believe in destiny, and know that whatever has befallen you was not going to miss you, and whatever has missed you was not going to befall you. And if you die believing in something other than this, you will enter the Fire."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed two rak'ahs after Asr prayer, and they used to pray it. Qubaysah said that Zaid bin Thabit said, "May Allah forgive Aisha, we know more about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ than Aisha. This was only because some Bedouins came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in Hajir and they sat asking him questions and seeking his guidance until Dhuhr prayer came and he did not pray two rak'ahs, so he sat and answered their questions until Asr prayer. Then he went to his house and mentioned that he did not pray anything after Dhuhr. So, he prayed the two rak'ahs after Asr prayer. May Allah forgive Aisha, we know more about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ than Aisha. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade praying after Asr prayer."

The orators of the Ansar continued in this manner. Then Zaid ibn Thabit stood up and said, "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was one of the Muhajirin, and the Imam should only be from the Muhajirin, and we are his supporters, just as we were the supporters of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ." Then Abu Bakr stood up and said, "May Allah reward you all well, O group of Ansar, and may your speaker be firm in his statement. And by Allah, if you were to do otherwise, we would not have been honest with you."
