adab:1036 –

'A'isha reported, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, ''A'ish! This is Jibril who sends you greetings.' I said, 'And peace be upon him and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. You see what I do not see." By that she meant the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.

الأدب المفرد:١٠٣٦ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ

(the wife the Prophet) Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Aisha! This is Gabriel sending his greetings to you." I said, "Peace, and Allah's Mercy be on him." ʿAisha added: The Prophet ﷺ used to see things which we used not to see.

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O ʿAisha! This is Gabriel sending his greetings to you." I said, "Peace, and Allah's Mercy be on him (Gabriel). You see what we do not see." (She was addressing Allah's Apostle).

ʿAisha said that the Prophet ﷺ said to her "O ʿAisha' This is Gabriel and he sends his (greetings) salutations to you." ʿAisha said, "Salutations (Greetings) to him, and Allah's Mercy and Blessings be on him," and addressing the Prophet ﷺ she said, "You see what I don't see."

Gabriel offered you greetings and I said: So there should be peace and mercy of Allah upon him.

'A'isha, here is Gabriel offering you greetings. She said: 1 made a reply: Let there be peace and blessings of Allah upon him, and added: He sees what I do not see.

النسائي:٣٩٥٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا نُوحُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

tirmidhi:3881 – Sūwayd b. Naṣr > ʿAbdullāh b. al-Mubārak > Maʿmar > al-Zuhrī > Abū Salamah > ʿĀʾishah

that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "O 'Aishah! Here is Jibril and he is giving Salam to you." She said: "I said: 'And upon him be peace and the mercy of Allah, and His blessings. You see that which we do not.'"

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Ḥasan-Ṣaḥīḥ.

الترمذي:٣٨٨١ – حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ قَالَتْ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَا عَائِشَةُ هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكِ السَّلاَمَ قَالَتْ قُلْتُ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ تَرَى مَا لاَ نَرَى

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ

tirmidhi:3882 – Sūwayd > ʿAbdullāh b. al-Mubārak > Zakariyyā > al-Shaʿbī > Abū Salamah b. ʿAbd al-Raḥman > ʿĀʾishah

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me: 'Indeed Jibril gives his Salam to you.' So I said: 'And upon him be peace and Allah's Mercy [and His blessings.]'"

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Ḥasan.

الترمذي:٣٨٨٢ – حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا زَكَرِيَّا عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ
