Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray two rakʿat before the Zuhr prayer and two rakʿat after it. He also used to pray two rakʿat after the Maghrib prayer in his house, and two rakʿat after the ʿIsha' prayer. He never prayed after Jumua prayer till he departed (from the Mosque), and then he would pray two rakʿat at home.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُصَلِّي قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَبَعْدَهَا رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَبَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فِي بَيْتِهِ وَبَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَكَانَ لاَ يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ حَتَّى يَنْصَرِفَ فَيُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ

I offered with Messenger of Allah ﷺ a two rakʿat prayer before the Zuhr prayer and two rakʿat after the Zuhr prayer, two rakʿat after Jumua, Maghrib and ʿIsha' prayers.

صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever persists in praying twelve rak'ahs each day and night will enter Paradise: Four before Zuhr and two after, two rak'ahs after Maghrib, two rak'ahs after Isha' and two rak'ahs before Fajr.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ ثَابَرَ عَلَى اثْنَتَىْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً فِي الْيَوْمِ وَاللَّيْلَةِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ أَرْبَعًا قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَهَا وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever persists in praying twelve rak'ahs each day and night, Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, will build for him a house in Paradise: Four before Zuhr and two after Zuhr, two rak'ahs after Maghrib, two rak'ahs after Isha' and two rak'ahs of Fajr."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ ثَابَرَ عَلَى اثْنَتَىْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً بَنَى اللَّهُ ﷻ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَرْبَعًا قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Twelve rak'ahs, whoever prays them Allah will build for him a house in Paradise: four rak'ahs before Zuhr and two rak'ahs after Zuhr, two rak'ahs before Asr, two rak'ahs after Maghrib and two rak'ahs before Subh prayer."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ اثْنَتَا عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً مَنْ صَلاَّهُنَّ بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْعَصْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ صَلاَةِ الصُّبْحِ

"Whoever prays twelve rak'ahs during the night and day other than the prescribed prayers, a house will be built for him in Paradise: four before Zuhr and two rak'ahs afterward, two before Asr, two after Maghrib and two before Fajr."

مَنْ صَلَّى فِي الْيَوْمِ وَاللَّيْلَةِ ثِنْتَىْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً سِوَى الْمَكْتُوبَةِ بُنِيَ لَهُ بَيْتٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَرْبَعًا قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَهَا وَثِنْتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْعَصْرِ وَثِنْتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَثِنْتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would pray two rak'ahs before and two after the noon prayer, two after the sunset prayer in his house, and two after the night prayer. He would not pray after the Friday prayer till he departed. He would then pray two rak'ahs.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُصَلِّي قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَبَعْدَهَا رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَبَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فِي بَيْتِهِ وَبَعْدَ صَلاَةِ الْعِشَاءِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَكَانَ لاَ يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ حَتَّى يَنْصَرِفَ فَيُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ

"Whoever is regular with twelve Rak'ah of Sunnah (prayer), Allah will build a house for him in Paradise: Four Rak'ah before Zuhr, two Rak'ah after it, two Rak'ah after Maghrib, two Rak'ah after Isha, and two Rak'ah before Fajr."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ ثَابَرَ عَلَى ثِنْتَىْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً مِنَ السُّنَّةِ بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَرْبَعِ رَكَعَاتٍ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَهَا وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَأَبِي مُوسَى وَابْنِ عُمَرَ

"I memorized ten Rak'ah from Messenger of Allah (S) which he would pray in a night and a day: Two Rak'ah before Az-Zuhr, two after it; two Rak'ah after Al-Maghrib and two Rak'ah after the latter Isha." He said: "And Hafsah narrated to me that he (S) would pray two Rak'ah before Al-Fajr."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَشْرَ رَكَعَاتٍ كَانَ يُصَلِّيهَا بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَهَا وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ الآخِرَةِ قَالَ وَحَدَّثَتْنِي حَفْصَةُ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُصَلِّي قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ

"I asked Aishah about the Salat of Messenger of Allah (S). She said: 'He would pray four Rak'ah before Az-Zuhr and two Rak'ah after it, and two after Al-Maghrib, and two Rak'ah after Al-Isha, and two before Al-Fajr."

عَنْ صَلاَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ كَانَ يُصَلِّي قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَبَعْدَهَا رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَبَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ ثِنْتَيْنِ وَبَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَقَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ ثِنْتَيْنِ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ وَابْنِ عُمَرَ

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Whoever persists in performing twelve Rak’ah from the Sunnah, a house will be built for him in Paradise: four before the Zuhr, two Rak’ah after Zuhr, two Rak’ah after Maghrib, two Rak’ah after the ‘Isha’ and two Rak’ah before Fajr.’”

رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ ثَابَرَ عَلَى ثِنْتَىْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً مِنَ السُّنَّةِ بُنِيَ لَهُ بَيْتٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَرْبَعٍ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Whoever performs twelve Rak’ah (of Sunnah) each day, a house will be built for him in Paradise: two Rak’ah before Fajr, two Rak’ah before the Zuhr, two Rak’ah after the Zuhr, two Rak’ah, I think he said, before ‘Asr, two Rak’ah after Maghrib, and I think he said two Rak’ah after the ‘Isha’.’”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ صَلَّى فِي يَوْمٍ ثِنْتَىْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً بُنِيَ لَهُ بَيْتٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ أَظُنُّهُ قَالَ قَبْلَ الْعَصْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ أَظُنُّهُ قَالَ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ الآخِرَةِ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray two rakas before dhuhr and two rakas after it, two rakas after maghrib, in his house, and two rakas after isha. He did not pray after jumua until he had left, and then he prayed two rakas.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُصَلِّي قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَبَعْدَهَا رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَبَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فِي بَيْتِهِ وَبَعْدَ صَلاَةِ الْعِشَاءِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَكَانَ لاَ يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ حَتَّى يَنْصَرِفَ فَيَرْكَعَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would pray two rak'ahs before and two after the noon prayer, two after the sunset prayer in his house, and two after the night prayer. He would not pray after the Friday prayer till he departed. He would then pray two rak'ahs. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1252)

[Machine] He said, "I heard Ibn Umar saying, 'The prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was never without two units before Dhuhr, two units after it, two units after Maghrib, two units after Isha, and two units before Fajr.'"

قَالَسَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ كَانَتْ صَلَاةُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الَّتِي لَا يَدَعُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَهَا وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الصُّبْحِ

[Machine] Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that I memorized from the Prophet ﷺ ten units of prayer: two units before the Fajr (dawn) prayer, two units before the Dhuhr (noon) prayer, two units after the Dhuhr prayer, two units after the Maghrib (sunset) prayer, and two units after the Isha (night) prayer.

ابْنُ عُمَرَ حَفِظْتُ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ عَشْرَ صَلَوَاتٍ رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ صَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ صَلَاةِالظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ صَلَاةِ الْمَغْرِبِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ

[Machine] I have memorized from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ten units of prayer, apart from the obligatory prayers: two units before Dhuhr, two units after Dhuhr, two units after Maghrib, two units after Isha, and two units before Fajr.

حَفِظْتُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ عَشْرَ رَكَعَاتٍ سِوَى الْفَرِيضَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْغَدَاةِ

[Machine] About the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , ten units of prayer, two before the noon prayer, two after it, two after the sunset prayer, two after the night prayer, and two before the dawn prayer.

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ عَشْرَ رَكَعَاتٍ رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَهَا وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الصُّبْحِ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to consistently perform ten units of prayer. This included two units before noon, two units after noon, two units after the evening prayer, two units after the night prayer, and two units before dawn.

عَشْرُ رَكَعَاتٍ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُدَاوِمُ عَلَيْهِنَّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to voluntarily pray two units before Dhuhr prayer, two units after it, two units after Maghrib prayer, and two units after Isha prayer. Hafsah informed me that he used to also pray two units after the dawn prayer.

كَانَ تَطَوُّعُ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَهَا وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ قَالَ وَأَخْبَرَتْنِي حَفْصَةُ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ طُلُوعِ الْفَجْرِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would pray two rak'ahs before and two after the noon prayer, two after the sunset prayer in his house, and two after the night prayer. He would not pray after the Friday prayer till he departed. He would then pray two rak'ahs. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1252)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ «يُصَلِّي قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَبَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَبَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فِي بَيْتِهِ وَبَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَبَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فِي بَيْتِهِ»

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Twelve rak'ahs, whoever prays them Allah will build for him a house in Paradise: four rak'ahs before Zuhr and two rak'ahs after Zuhr, two rak'ahs before Asr, two rak'ahs after Maghrib and two rak'ahs before Subh prayer." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1801)

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ صَلَّى ثِنْتَيْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً فِي الْيَوْمِ بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ * وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْعَصْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الصُّبْحِ»

[Machine] "I prayed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he used to pray two units before Dhuhr, two units after it, two units after Maghrib, and two units after the final Isha prayer."

«صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَكَانَ يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَهَا وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ الْآخِرَةِ»

[Machine] From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ : "Two units before Dhuhr prayer, and two units after it, and two units after Maghrib prayer, and two units after Isha prayer."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَهَا وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ»

[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ used to pray two units before Dhuhr prayer, two units after Jumu'ah prayer, two units after Maghrib prayer, and two units after Isha prayer."

«كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُصَلِّي قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَبَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَبَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَبَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ»

[Machine] From Umm Habibah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ and his sister, it was reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever prays twelve units of prayer, Allah will build a house for him in Paradise: four units before Dhuhr, two units after Dhuhr, two units before Asr, two units after Maghrib, and two units before Fajr."

عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَهِيَ أُخْتُهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ ثِنْتَا عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً مَنْ صَلَّاهُنَّ بَنَى اللهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْعَصْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الصُّبْحِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Twelve rak'ahs, whoever prays them Allah will build for him a house in Paradise: four rak'ahs before Zuhr and two rak'ahs after Zuhr, two rak'ahs before Asr, two rak'ahs after Maghrib and two rak'ahs before Subh prayer." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1801)

"Whoever prays twelve Rak'ah in a day and night, a house will be built from him in Paradise: Four Rak'ah before Zuhr, two Rak'ah after it, two Rak'ah after Maghrib, two Rak'ah after Isha, and two Rak'ah before Fajr in the morning Salat." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 415)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ صَلَّى فِي يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ اثْنَتَيْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً بَنَى اللهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَرْبَعًا قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَهَا وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ صَلَاةِ الْغَدَاةِ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever prays twelve units of prayer in a day, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise: four units before Dhuhr prayer, two units after Dhuhr prayer, two units before Asr prayer, two units after Maghrib prayer, and two units after Isha prayer."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ صَلَّى فِي يَوْمٍ اثْنَتَيْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً بَنَى اللهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْعَصْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ

[Machine] I prayed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for ten years, and his prayers each day were ten units: two units before Fajr prayer, two units before Dhuhr prayer, two units after Maghrib prayer, and two units after Isha prayer.

صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ عَشْرَ سِنِينَ فَكَانَتْ صَلَاتُهُ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ عَشْرَ رَكَعَاتٍ رَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ

[Machine] "Abdullah used to perform four units of prayer before midday (Dhuhr), and two units after it, as well as two units after the sunset prayer (Maghrib), and two units after the night prayer (Isha). Additionally, he would perform two units of prayer before dawn (Fajr), and he would not pray before the afternoon prayer (Asr) or after it."

«كَانَتْ صَلَاةُ عَبْدِ اللهِ مِنَ النَّهَارِ أَرْبَعًا قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَهَا وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ وَلَا يُصَلِّي قَبْلَ الْعَصْرِ وَلَا بَعْدَهَا»

[Machine] Abdullah used to voluntarily pray four before the noon prayer, two after it, two after the sunset prayer, two after the night prayer, and two before the morning prayer.

«كَانَ تَطَوُّعُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الَّذِي لَا يَنْقُصُ مِنْهُ أَرْبَعًا قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَهَا وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ صَلَاةِ الْغَدَاةِ»

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would pray two rak'ahs before and two after the noon prayer, two after the sunset prayer in his house, and two after the night prayer. He would not pray after the Friday prayer till he departed. He would then pray two rak'ahs. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1252)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ «يُصَلِّي قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَبَعْدَهَا رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَبَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فِي بَيْتِهِ وَبَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَكَانَ لَا يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ حَتَّى يَنْصَرِفَ فَيُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ»

I offered with Messenger of Allah ﷺ a two rakʿat prayer before the Zuhr prayer and two rakʿat after the Zuhr prayer, two rakʿat after Jumua, Maghrib and ʿIsha' prayers. (Using translation from Bukhārī 1169)

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ «عَشْرَ صَلَوَاتٍ رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الصُّبْحِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ»

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever persists in praying twelve rak'ahs each day and night will enter Paradise: Four before Zuhr and two after, two rak'ahs after Maghrib, two rak'ahs after Isha' and two rak'ahs before Fajr.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1794)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ ثَابَرَ عَلَى ثِنْتَيْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً فِي الْيَوْمِ وَاللَّيْلَةِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ أَرْبَعًا قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَهَا وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا خَطَأٌ وَلَعَلَّهُ أَرَادَ عَنْبَسَةَ بْنَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ فَصَحَّفَهُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Twelve rak'ahs, whoever prays them Allah will build for him a house in Paradise: four rak'ahs before Zuhr and two rak'ahs after Zuhr, two rak'ahs before Asr, two rak'ahs after Maghrib and two rak'ahs before Subh prayer." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1801)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «ثِنْتَا عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً مَنْ صَلَّاهُنَّ بُنِيَ لَهُ بَيْتٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَرْبَعُ رَكَعَاتٍ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَانِ بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَانِ قَبْلَ الْعَصْرِ وَرَكْعَتَانِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَرَكْعَتَانِ قَبْلَ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ» خَالَفَهُ زُهَيْرٌ فَرَوَاهُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ عَنْ عَنْبَسَةَ أَخِي أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ وَلَمْ يَرْفَعِ الْحَدِيثَ

"Whoever prays twelve rak'ahs during the night and day other than the prescribed prayers, a house will be built for him in Paradise: four before Zuhr and two rak'ahs afterward, two before Asr, two after Maghrib and two before Fajr." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1803)

«مَنْ صَلَّى فِي الْيَوْمِ وَاللَّيْلَةِ ثِنْتَيْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً سِوَى الْمَكْتُوبَةِ بُنِيَ لَهُ بَيْتٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَهَا وَثِنْتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْعَصْرِ وَثِنْتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَثِنْتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ»

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever persists in praying twelve rak'ahs each day and night, Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, will build for him a house in Paradise: Four before Zuhr and two after Zuhr, two rak'ahs after Maghrib, two rak'ahs after Isha' and two rak'ahs of Fajr." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1795)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ يَعْنِي صَلَّى ثِنْتَيْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً بَنَى اللهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَرْبَعًا قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever prays twelve rak'ahs, Allah (SWT) will build for him a house in paradise: four before Zuhr and two after, two before Asr, two after Maghrib, and two before Subh.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1802)

عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ صَلَّى ثِنْتَيْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً بَنَى اللهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَرْبَعًا قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَاثْنَتَيْنِ بَعْدَهَا وَاثْنَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْعَصْرِ وَاثْنَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَاثْنَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الصُّبْحِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Twelve rak'ahs, whoever prays them Allah will build for him a house in Paradise: four rak'ahs before Zuhr and two rak'ahs after Zuhr, two rak'ahs before Asr, two rak'ahs after Maghrib and two rak'ahs before Subh prayer." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1801)

عَنْ أُخْتِهِ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ صَلَّى ثِنْتَيْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً فِي يَوْمٍ بَنَى اللهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْعَصْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الصُّبْحِ

"مَنْ صَلَّى ثِنْتَيْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً فِي يَوْمٍ بَنَى اللهُ له بَيتًا في الْجَنَّة، أَربعُ رَكعَاتٍ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَاثْنَتَانِ بَعْدَهَا، وَاثْنَتَانِ قَبْلَ الْعَصْرِ، وَاثْنَتَان بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبَ وَاثْنَتَان قَبْلَ الصُّبْح".

"مَنْ صَلَّى فِي يَوْمٍ وَلَيلَة ثِنْتَيْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً بَنَى اللهُ لَهُ بَيتًا فِي الْجَنَّة: أَرْبَعًا قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكعَتَينِ بَعْدَهَا، وَرَكْعَتَينِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرب، وَرَكْعَتَينِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ، وَرَكْعَتَينِ قَبْلَ صَلاةِ الْغَدَاةِ".

"مَنْ صَلَّى فِي يَوْمٍ ثِنْتَيْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً، بَنَى اللهُ لَهُ بَيتًا فِي الْجَنَّة: رَكْعَتَين قَبْلَ الْفَجْر وَرَكْعَتَينِ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَينِ بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَينِ قَبْلَ الْعَصْرِ، وَرَكْعَتَينِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ، وَرَكْعَتينِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ الآخِرَةِ".

"مَنْ ثَابَرَ عَلَى اثْنَتَى عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً من السُّنَّةِ بَنَى اللهُ - تَعَالى - لَهُ بَيتًا في الْجنَّةِ: أَرْبَعِ رَكَعات قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ، وَرَكْعَتَينِ بَعْدَها، وَرَكْعَتَينِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْربِ، وَرَكعَتَينِ بَعْدَ الْعِشاءِ، ورَكعَتَينِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ".

"عَنِ أَبِى عُبَيْدَةَ قَالَ: كانَتْ صَلاةُ عَبْد اللهِ الَّتى لا يَدَعُهَا أَرْبَعَ رَكعَاتٍ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ، وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ، وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ، وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ صَلاةِ الصُّبْحِ".
