that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed the first cases to be judged between the people are those of bloodshed."  

الترمذي:١٣٩٦ – حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ أَوَّلَ مَا يُحْكَمُ بَيْنَ الْعِبَادِ فِي الدِّمَاءِ  

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَهَكَذَا رَوَى غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ مَرْفُوعًا وَرَوَى بَعْضُهُمْ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ وَلَمْ يَرْفَعُوهُ
