Then he went to the wall of the House that was in front of him, and placed his chest, cheek and hands on it, then he recited the Takbir, and the Tahlil, and supplicated. Alaqah came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and embraced Islam. He then came back from him and passed some people who had a lunatic fettered in chains. His people said: We are told that your companion has brought some good. Have you something with which you can cure him? I then recited Surat al-Fatihah and he was cured. They gave me one hundred sheep. I then came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and informed him of it. He asked: Is it only this? The narrator, Musaddad, said in his other version: Did you say anything other than this? I said: No. He said: Take it, for by my life, some accept if for a worthless chain, but you have done so for a genuine one. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3896)

There was a dispute between me and another man in a certain land, so I brought the case to the Prophet ﷺ . He asked me if I had any evidence. I said no. [Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Verily, there was no prophet before me except that he warned his nation about the Dajjal. Indeed, the Dajjal is one-eyed, and his left eye is blind and covered with a thick layer, while between his two eyes is written 'disbeliever.' He will come with two valleys, one of them being paradise, and the other being fire. His fire will be paradise, and his paradise will be fire. With him, there will be two angels resembling two prophets from the prophets. If I wished, I could name them both by their names and the names of their fathers. One of them will be on his right side, and the other on his left side. This is a trial. The Dajjal will then say, 'Am I not your Lord? Am I not the one who brings life and death?' One of the two angels will say to him, 'You are a liar, no one hears this except for his companion.' The Dajjal will then say to him, 'You have spoken the truth.' People will hear this and they will think that the Dajjal is being confirmed as their Lord. This will be a trial. Then, he will continue until he reaches Madinah, and no one will be safe from his harm. He will say, 'This is the city of that person.' Then, he will continue until he reaches Ash-Sham, where Allah will destroy him at the mountain pass of Afiq."

[Machine] On the authority of a man from the companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) delivered a sermon to us one day and said: "O people, there are two blessings that whoever is protected from their evil will enter Paradise." A man from the Ansar (the helpers) stood up and said, "O Messenger of Allah, will you not inform us of these two blessings?" Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two people, whoever is protected from their evil will enter Paradise, until the third (one) sits down." The companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "You see that the Messenger of Allah wants to give us glad tidings and you prevent him?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "I fear that people will rely on it." Then he said, "Two people, whoever is protected from their evil will enter Paradise, from the beginning of their beard to the end of their feet."

Ibn 'Umar wanted to perform Hajj in the year when Al-Hajjaj was besieging Ibn Az-Zubair, and it was said to him: "It seems that there will be fighting between them, and I am afraid that you will prevented from performing Hajj." He said: "In the messenger of Allah you have a good example. I am going to do what the Messenger of Allah did. I bear witness to you that I have resolved to perform 'Umrah." Then he set out, and when he was in Zahir Al-Baida, he said: "Hajj and Umrah are the same thing; I bear witness to you that I have resolved to perform Hajj with my 'Umrah." And he brought along a Hadi (sacrificial animal) that he had bought in Qudaid. Then he set out and entered Ihram for them both. When he came to Makkah he circumambulated the House and (did sa'i) between As-Safa and Al-Marwah. Then he did not do any thing more than that, and he did not offer a sacrifice, or shave his head, or cut his hair; he remained in Ihram until the Day of Sacrifice. Then he slaughtered his Hadi and shaved his head, and he thought that he had completed the Tawaf of Hajj and 'Umrah in the first Tawaf. Ibn 'Umar said: "That is what the Messenger of Allah did.
