[Machine] Ibn Umar went out for Hajj and entered the state of Ihram. He rested his head in severe cold, so I placed a hooded cloak over him. He woke up and said, 'What did you put on me?' I replied, 'A hooded cloak.' He said, 'You put it on me while I have told you that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade us from wearing it?'  

أحمد:٦٢٦٦حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الطُّفَاوِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ

أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ خَرَجَ حَاجًّا فَأَحْرَمَ فَوَضَعَ رَأْسَهُ فِي بَرْدٍ شَدِيدٍ فَأَلْقَيْتُ عَلَيْهِ بُرْنُسًا فَانْتَبَهَ فَقَالَ مَا أَلْقَيْتَ عَلَيَّ؟ قُلْتُ بُرْنُسًا قَالَ تُلْقِيهِ عَلَيَّ وَقَدْ حَدَّثْتُكَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَانَا عَنْ لُبْسِهِ؟

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'n-Nadr, the mawla of Umar ibn Ubaydullah, from Sulayman ibn Yasar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade fasting on the days of Mina.
