[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "When the month of Ramadan begins, the gates of Paradise are opened, the gates of Hellfire are closed, and the devils are chained up. A caller announces: 'O seeker of goodness, come forward, and O seeker of evil, restrain yourself until the month is over."  

الطبراني:١٤٤٥٥ – حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ ثَنَا أَبُو بِلَالٍ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ حَرْبٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ عَرْفَجَةَ الثَّقَفِيِّ عَنْ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ فَرْقَدٍ السُّلَمِيِّ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا جَاءَ شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ فُتِحَتْ أَبْوَابُ الْجَنَّةِ وَغُلِّقَتْ أَبْوَابُ النَّارِ وَصُفِّدَتِ الشَّيَاطِينُ وَنَادَى مُنَادٍ يَا طَالِبَ الْخَيْرِ هَلُمَّ وَيَا طَالِبَ الشَّرِّ اقْتَصِرْ حَتَّى يَنْسَلِخَ الشَّهْرُ
