the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Verily there are two things - words and guidance. The best words are the words of Allah, and the best guidance in the guidance of Muhammad. Beware of newly-invented matters, for every newly-invented matter is an innovation (Bid'ah) and every innovation is a going-stray. Do not let the desire for a long life causes your hearts to grow hard. That which is bound to happen is close to you, and the only thing that is far away is that which is not going to happen. The one who is doomed to Hell is doomed from his mother's womb, and the one who is destined for Paradise is the one who learns from the lessons of others. Killing a believer constitutes disbelief (Kufr) and verbally abusing him is immorality (Fusuq). It is not permissible for a Muslim to forsake his brother for more than three days. Beware of lying, for lying is never good, whether it is done seriously or in jest. A man should not make a promise to a child that he will not keep. Lying leads to immorality and immorality leads to Hell. Truthfulness leads to righteousness and righteousness leads to Paradise. It will be said of the truthful person: 'He spoke the truth and was righteous', and it will be said of the liar, 'He told lies and was immoral.' "For a person continues to tell lies until he is recorded with Allah as a liar." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 46)
[Machine] Indeed, there are only two types of guidance: the guidance of words and speech, and the most truthful of speech is the word of Allah. And the best of guidance is the guidance of Muhammad ﷺ . And the worst of matters are the newly invented ones, and every innovation is misguidance, and every misguidance leads to the Fire.

[Machine] Abdullah bin Mas'ud said, "Everything that is to come is near. Verily, what is far away is not coming quickly, and Allah does not rush for anyone's sake, nor does He care about people's affairs. So adhere to the truth, for it leads to Paradise. And a person will continue to be truthful until he is recorded with Allah as a truthful person, and righteousness will be firmly established in his heart. And wickedness will not have a place in his heart even the size of a needlehead. Beware of lying, for it leads to the Fire. And a person will continue to lie until he is recorded with Allah as a liar, and wickedness will be firmly established in his heart. And there will not be any place in his heart even the size of a needlehead for it to settle."

[Machine] "It is not appropriate to joke or play around with lies, nor is it acceptable for any of you to promise something to a child and then not fulfill it."
[Machine] Abdullah said, "Neither seriousness nor joking can ever make lying acceptable."

[Machine] It is called Buraydah, so we said, "Oh Buraydah, tell us what Abu Wael has told us." She said, "Abu Wael has told the people what you have heard from Abdullah. He said, 'O people, you are gathered in one open plain. The caller calls you and your sight follows. Know that the unfortunate one is the one who is unfortunate in his mother's womb.' He said, 'And he thinks that she follows him, but the fortunate one is the one who is advised without being addressed.'"

[Machine] "The miserable person is the one who is miserable in his mother's womb, and the fortunate person is the one who is admonished by others."

[Machine] Abdullah ibn Mas'ood used to give us sermons every Thursday and would say, "The most truthful speech is the Book of Allah, and the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad ﷺ . The worst of all things are newly-invented matters (in religion), and every innovation is a misguidance. The most evil of all affairs are those that are newly-invented, and indeed you are all gathered upon one level, so the eyesight will guide you and the caller will make you hear. Know that the miserable one is the one who is miserable in his mother's womb, and the happy one is the one who is admonished without experiencing it himself."
[Machine] O people, adhere to truthfulness for it leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise. Beware of lying, for it leads to wickedness, and wickedness leads to the Fire. It is said that the truthful person is known for their truthfulness and righteousness, while the liar is known for their lies and wickedness. Know that the angels have an inclination towards goodness, while Satan has an inclination towards evil. Therefore, whoever finds the inclination of the angels, let them praise Allah, and whoever finds the inclination of Satan, let them seek refuge in Allah. Indeed, Allah says, "Satan promises you poverty and orders you to commit evil." (Quran, until the end of the verse). Allah laughs at two men: a man who gets up in the cold night from his bed, covering, and wardrobe to perform ablution and then stands up to pray, and Allah asks his angels, "What has motivated my servant to do this?" They reply, "Our Lord, he does this in hope of what is with you and in fear of what is with you." Allah says, "Indeed, I have granted him what he hopes for and kept him safe from what he fears." And a man who is in the midst of a battle, knowing what awaits him in terms of retreat and what he will receive from Allah, so he fights until he is killed. Allah asks his angels, "What has motivated my servant to do this?" They reply, "Our Lord, he does this in hope of what is with you and in fear of what is with you." Allah says, "Indeed, I bear witness that I have granted him what he hopes for and kept him safe from what he fears," or something similar to it.

[Machine] Abdullah ibn Mas'ood said, "None of you are except as guests and travelers, and the guest departs while the traveler returns to his people."

[Machine] Ibn Mas'ud advised his son Abu Ubaidah with three words: "My son, I advise you with the fear of God, let your house be sufficient for you, and cry over your sins, and control your tongue."
[Machine] A man said to Abdullah: "Advise me with concise beneficial words." Abdullah said to him: "Worship Allah alone and do not associate anything with Him. Stay close to the Quran wherever it may lead you. Whoever comes to you with the truth, accept it from him even if he is far away. And whoever brings you falsehood, reject it from him even if he is close and beloved to you."
[Machine] "That I see a man empty, neither in worldly affairs nor in the hereafter."
[Machine] "That I see the man empty, not engaged in worldly affairs nor in the hereafter."
[Machine] Abdullah said, "Whoever migrates seeking something, he will have it." He said, "A man migrated to marry a woman known as Umm Qais, and he used to be called Muhajir Umm Qais".
[Machine] "A man should not say, 'I seek forgiveness from Allah, there is no god but Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence, and I repent to Him three times, except that his sins will be forgiven, even if he flees from crawling.'"
[Machine] Indeed, the mountain calls out to another mountain by its name, saying, "So-and-so, did anyone mention Allah to you today?" If it says yes, it rejoices. Then someone says, "Aid will listen: evil will not listen. They are for good, listening." And they recite, "And they say: 'The Most Merciful has taken a son. You have done a monstrous thing. The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation. That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son. And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son."
إِنَّ الْجَبَلَ لَيُنَادِي الْجَبَلَ بِاسْمِهِ أَيْ فُلَانُ هَلْ مَرَّ بِكَ الْيَوْمَ أَحَدٌ ذَكَرَ اللهَ؟ فَإِذَا قَالَ نَعَمْ اسْتَبْشَرَ قَالَ عَوْنٌ «فَيَسْتَمِعْنَ الشَّرَّ وَلَا يَسْتَمِعْنَ الْخَيْرَ هُنَّ لِلْخَيْرِ أَسْمَعُ» وَقَرَأَ {وَقَالُوا اتَّخَذَ الرَّحْمَنُ وَلَدًا لَقَدْ جِئْتُمْ شَيْئًا إِدًّا تَكَادُ السَّمَاوَاتُ يَتَفَطَّرْنَ مِنْهُ وَتَنْشَقُّ الْأَرْضُ وَتَخِرُّ الْجِبَالُ هَدًّا أَنْ دَعَوْا لِلرَّحْمَنِ وَلَدًا وَمَا يَنْبَغِي لِلرَّحْمَنِ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا}
[Machine] Abdullah said, "Whoever does not command him to do good and forbid him from evil, his distance from Allah will only increase."
[Machine] Abdullah Patience is half of faith, and certainty is faith.
[Machine] While I was with Abdullah, I saw a group, so they scattered and then returned. He said, "Beware of frequenting the marketplace, for indeed it is the gathering place of Satan."
[Machine] Abdullah said, "Indeed, Paradise is surrounded by hardships, and indeed, Hellfire is surrounded by desires. So whoever can see beyond the veil, let him fall into what is behind it."
[Machine] "Abdullah said: 'The majority of people have the most sins on the Day of Resurrection, and most of them engage in falsehood.'"
[Machine] Ibn Mas'ud warns you against arrogance and pride. And have you not witnessed and seen? Indeed, those who came before you were destroyed due to their arrogance and pride. And do not compare one thing to another, for then the stepping foot slips after it has been firmly planted. And if someone asks you about something that you do not know, then respond with "I do not know," for that is one-third of knowledge.
[Machine] "Abdullah said, 'There is no year except that the one after it is worse, and no year is better than a year, and no nation is better than a nation. However, the disappearance of your best people and your scholars, and the emergence of a people who judge matters by their own opinions, the Islam will be destroyed and corrupt.'"
[Machine] "The righteous will depart in ranks, while those who have doubts will remain, not recognizing what is good and not condemning what is evil."
[Machine] He used to say when he sat down, "Verily, you are in the passage of the night in limited periods and preserved deeds, and death comes suddenly. So whoever sows good, he will soon reap desire, and whoever sows evil, he will soon reap regrets. And for every farmer, there is no delay in his fortune, and no eager one can attain what is not destined for him. So whoever is given good, Allah has given him, and whoever is protected from evil, Allah has protected him. The righteous are leaders and the knowledgeable are guides, and their gatherings are blessings."
[Machine] "Do not fight against this night, for you will not be able to endure it. And if one of you becomes sleepy, let him go to his bed, for it is surrendered to him."
[Machine] "Yusuf and his mother were given two-thirds of beauty."
[Machine] "Joseph and his mother were given two-thirds of the beauty."
[Machine] "Joseph and his mother were given two-thirds of the good physical appearance of people in terms of facial features, whiteness, and other aspects. And whenever a woman approached him, he would cover his face out of fear of temptation."

[Machine] Abdullah said, "Indeed, a person may go out with his religion intact, but return with nothing of it. Another person may come who has no benefit or harm to himself or others, and he swears by Allah that you are lying and have sinned. Then, all of his needs are fulfilled, although Allah is angry with him."
[Machine] "He who does not enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong is destroyed." He then said, "No, rather he who does not recognize good in his heart and disapproves evil in his heart is destroyed."
[Machine] "Abdullah is the one who desires the Hereafter and harms the worldly life, and the one who desires the worldly life harms the Hereafter. And He has commanded them to harm the fading (worldly possessions) for the eternal (Hereafter). And He said, 'Indeed, you are in a time where the scholars are few and the preachers are many, and those who give (charity) are few and those who ask (for help) are many. So lengthen the prayer and shorten the sermon, for indeed, some form of magic is in speech.' And indeed, after you, there will be a time where the preachers are many, the scholars are few, those who ask (for help) are many, and those who give (charity) are few."
[Machine] "In your time, prayers are long and sermons are short. The scholars are many, but the preachers are few. There will come a time when prayers will be short and sermons will be long. The preachers will be many, but the scholars will be few. They will delay the evening prayer until the time of the deceased. So, whoever among you experiences this, let him pray the prayer at its appointed time and make it voluntary with them. Indeed, you are in a time when a man is envied for his abundance of wealth and children. There will come a time when a man is envied for his few children and his light luggage. I do not leave behind any affliction for my family that is dearer to me than them. Indeed, I love them as they love your families."
[Machine] Abdullah saw his children playing in front of him and said, "These children are easier for me than a herd of camels."
[Machine] "The testimony of falsehood has been equalized to associating partners with Allah" and he recited, "And avoid false statement."
«عَدَلَتْ شَهَادَةُ الزُّورِ الشِّرْكَ بِاللهِ» وَقَرَأَ {وَاجْتَنِبُوا قَوْلَ الزُّورِ}
