Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I was sent to perfect good character."  

مالك:٤٧-٨ – وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ أَنَّهُ قَدْ بَلَغَهُ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ بُعِثْتُ لأُتَمِّمَ حُسْنَ الأَخْلاَقِ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّمَا بُعِثْتُ لِأُتَمِّمَ صَالِحَ الْأَخْلَاقِ

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ على شرط مسلم
