"عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ خَرَجَ الخَلَاءَ وَقُرِّبَ إِلَيْهِ الطَّعَامُ، وَعَرَضُوا عَلَيْهِ الْوَضُوء، فَقَالَ: إِنَّمَا أُمِرْتُ بِالوُضُوءِ إِذَا أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ".
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out from the privy and was presented to him. They (the people) asked: Should we bring you water for ablution? He replied: I have been commanded to perform ablution when I get up for prayer.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ خَرَجَ مِنَ الْخَلاَءِ فَقُدِّمَ إِلَيْهِ طَعَامٌ فَقَالُوا أَلاَ نَأْتِيكَ بِوَضُوءٍ فَقَالَ إِنَّمَا أُمِرْتُ بِالْوُضُوءِ إِذَا قُمْتُ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ cae out from the toilet and some food was brought to him. They said: 'Shall we bring you some water for Wudu'?' He said: 'I have only been ordered to perform Wudu' when standing for Salat.'"
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ خَرَجَ مِنَ الْخَلاَءِ فَقُرِّبَ إِلَيْهِ طَعَامٌ فَقَالُوا أَلاَ نَأْتِيكَ بِوَضُوءٍ قَالَ إِنَّمَا أُمِرْتُ بِالْوُضُوءِ إِذَا قُمْتُ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ came out of the bathroom and they brought food close to him. They offered him ablution, but he said, "I was only commanded to perform ablution when I stand up for prayer." Abu Bakr informed the Prophet ﷺ that Allah the Almighty commanded him to perform ablution when he stands up for prayer, regardless of whether it is the time to enter or exit.
