[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out on a expedition that he fought until he reached a certain point. Then a man from the polytheists caught up with him, who was strong. They were happy with him and he said: "O Messenger of Allah, I came to be with you and get injured." He said: "We do not seek assistance from a polytheist." He said: "That happened three times, then he converted in the fourth time and he went along with him."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ خَرَجَ فِي غَزْوَةٍ غَزَاهَا حَتَّى كَانَ بِكَذَا وَكَذَا لَحِقَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ كَانَ شَدِيدًا فَفَرِحُوا بِهِ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ «جِئْتُ لَأَكُونَ مَعَكَ وَأُصِيبُ» قَالَ «إِنَّا لَا نَسْتَعِينُ بِمُشْرِكٍ» قَالَ «ذَلِكَ ثَلَاثَ مِرَارٍ فَأَسْلَمَ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ فَانْطَلَقَ مَعَهُ»
