Allah has cursed one who has cauterised it (on the face).  

مسلم:٢١١٧ – وَحَدَّثَنِي سَلَمَةُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَعْيَنَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْقِلٌ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مَرَّ عَلَيْهِ حِمَارٌ قَدْ وُسِمَ فِي وَجْهِهِ فَقَالَ لَعَنَ اللَّهُ الَّذِي وَسَمَهُ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ saw a donkey that had been branded on its face, so he said, "May Allah curse whoever did this."

رَأَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ حِمَارًا قَدْ وُسِمَ فِي وَجْهِهِ فَقَالَ لَعَنَ اللهُ مَنْ فَعَلَ هَذَا  

ذِكْرُ الزَّجْرِ عَنْ وَسْمِ شَيْءٍ مِنْ ذَوَاتِ الْأَرْبَعِ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ

ibnhibban:5627 – Aḥmad b. ʿAlī b. al-Muthanná > Ghassān b. al-Rabīʿ > Ḥammād b. Salamah > Abū al-Zubayr > Jābir

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ saw a donkey that had been marked on its face, so he said, "Did I not forbid this? May Allah curse whoever did it."  

ابن حبّان:٥٦٢٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا غَسَّانُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَأَى حِمَارًا قَدْ وُسِمَ فِي وَجْهِهِ فَقَالَ «أَلَمْ أَنْهَ عَنْ هَذَا؟! لَعَنَ اللَّهُ مَنْ فَعَلَهُ»  

ذِكْرُ لَعْنِ الْمُصْطَفَى ﷺ الْوَاسِمَ شَيْئًا مِنْ ذَوَاتِ الْأَرْبَعِ فِي وَجْهِهِ
