[Machine] "I entered upon Al-Bara' bin 'Azib and I heard him say, 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade us from seven things: gold rings, precious stones, wearing fine striped silk, wearing silk, wearing garments dyed with saffron, drinking from silver vessels.'"  

ابن حبّان:٥٣٤٠أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ مُقَرِّنٍ قَالَ

دَخَلْتُ عَلَى الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبِ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ «نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ سَبْعٍ عَنْ خَوَاتِيمِ الذَّهَبِ وَعَنِ الْمَيَاثِرِ وَالْقَسِّيِّ وَعَنْ لُبْسِ الدِّيبَاجِ وَالْحَرِيرِ وَالْإِسْتَبْرَقِ وَعَنِ الشُّرْبِ فِي الْفِضَّةِ»
