ذِكْرُ الْخَبَرِ الْمُدْحِضِ قَوْلَ مَنْ زَعَمَ أَنَّ هَذِهِ السُّنَّةَ تَفَرَّدَ بِهَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَعْرَجُ

[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ stood up to perform the prayer at the time of intercession, intending to sit afterwards. We glorified Allah while he went away. When he finished his prayer, he prostrated twice while sitting."  

ابن حبّان:٢٦٨٠ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الدَّغَوْلِيُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الذُّهْلِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ وَابْنِ حِبَّانَ عَنِ ابْنِ بُحَيْنَةَ

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى فَقَامَ فِي الشَّفْعِ الَّذِي يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَجْلِسَ فَسَبَّحْنَا فَمَضَى فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ»

The Prophet ﷺ prayed, then he stood up after two rak'ahs while he was supposed to sit, and he continued his prayer. Then at the end of his prayer, he performed two prostrations before the Salam, then he said the Salam.  

النسائي:١١٧٧ – أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ حَبِيبِ بْنِ عَرَبِيٍّ الْبَصْرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الأَعْرَجِ عَنِ ابْنِ بُحَيْنَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى فَقَامَ فِي الشَّفْعِ الَّذِي كَانَ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَجْلِسَ فِيهِ فَمَضَى فِي صَلاَتِهِ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ فِي آخِرِ صَلاَتِهِ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسَلِّمَ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ  

nasai:1178 – Abū Dāwud Sulaymān b. Sayf > Wahbb. Jarīr > Shuʿbah > Yaḥyá b. Saʿīd > ʿAbd al-Raḥman al-Aʿraj > Ibn Buḥaynah

The Prophet ﷺ prayed and stood up following the first two rak'ahs, and they said (SubhanAllah). He carried on, then when he finished his prayer he performed two prostrations, then he said the Salam.
