I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, when he was in ‘Aqiq: “Someone came to me from my Lord and said: ‘Pray in this blessed valley and say: (I intend to do) ‘Umrah in Hajj.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2976)
"We, the Companions of the Prophet, entered Ihram for Hajj only, and nothing else. We came to Makkah on the morning of the fourth of Dhul-Hajjah, and the Prophet commanded us: "Exit Ihram and make it Umrah. He heard that we were saying: 'when there are only five days between us and 'Arafat he commands us to exit Ihram and we will go out to Mina with our male members dripping with semen (because of recent intimacy with our wives)?' the Prophet stood up and addressed us, saying: 'I have heard what you said. I am the most righteous and the most pious of you, and were it not for the Hadi I would have exited Ihram. If I had known what I know now, I would not have from Yemen and he said: 'for what did you enter Ihram?' He said: 'For that for which the Messenger of Allah entered Ihram.' Suraq bin Malik bin Jushum said: 'O Messenger of Allah, do you think that this Umrah of ours is for this year only or for all time?' He said: 'It is for all time." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2805)

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever wishes to perform Hajj, let them do so, and whoever wishes to perform Umrah, let them do so." So some of us performed Hajj and some of us performed Umrah. I, however, performed Umrah. When we reached Sarif, I mentioned menstruation. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to me while I was crying and I said, "I wish I had not performed my Umrah this year." I mentioned her menstruation to him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Shave your head, perform the purification rituals, and do what the Muslim pilgrims do during Hajj." So I obeyed Allah and His Messenger. On the night of Sadr (the day to depart Makkah), Abdur Rahman bin Abu Bakr ordered her to leave for Tan'im. She said, "I performed Umrah from there."
[Machine] "We went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ declaring the pilgrimage loudly. When we completed Tawaf around the Kaaba, he said, 'Make it an 'Umrah except for those who have brought sacrificial animals with them.' We then performed 'Umrah and when dawn broke on the day of Tarwiyah, we proclaimed the pilgrimage and set out for Mina."
"The Messenger of Allah came on the fourth day of Dhul-Hijjah having entered Ihram for Hajj. He prayed Subh in Al-Batha and said: 'Whoever wants to make it Umrah, let him do so.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2871)
' Aisha said, "We set out with Messenger of Allah ﷺs in the months of Hajj, and (in) the nights of Hajj, and at the time and places of Hajj and in a state of Hajj. We dismounted at Sarif (a village six miles from Mecca). The Prophet ﷺ then addressed his companions and said, "Anyone who has not got the Hadi and likes to do Umra instead of Hajj may do so (i.e. Hajj-al-Tamattuʿ) and anyone who has got the Hadi should not finish the Ihram after performing ' ʿUmra). (i.e. Hajj-al-Qiran). Aisha added, "The companions of the Prophet ﷺ obeyed the above (order) and some of them (i.e. who did not have Hadi) finished their Ihram after Umra." Messenger of Allah ﷺ and some of his companions were resourceful and had the Hadi with them, they could not perform Umra (alone) (but had to perform both Hajj and Umra with one Ihram). Aisha added, "Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to me and saw me weeping and said, "What makes you weep, O Hantah?" I replied, "I have heard your conversation with your companions and I cannot perform the Umra." He asked, "What is wrong with you?' I replied, ' I do not offer the prayers (i.e. I have my menses).' He said, ' It will not harm you for you are one of the daughters of Adam, and Allah has written for you (this state) as He has written it for them. Keep on with your intentions for Hajj and Allah may reward you that." Aisha further added, "Then we proceeded for Hajj till we reached Mina and I became clean from my menses. Then I went out from Mina and performed Tawaf round the Kaʿba." Aisha added, "I went along with the Prophet ﷺ in his final departure (from Hajj) till he dismounted at Al-Muhassab (a valley outside Mecca), and we too, dismounted with him." He called ' ʿAbdur-Rahman bin Abu Bakr and said to him, ' Take your sister outside the sanctuary of Mecca and let her assume Ihram for ' ʿUmra, and when you had finished ' ʿUmra, return to this place and I will wait for you both till you both return to me.' " ' Aisha added, " So we went out of the sanctuary of Mecca and after finishing from the ' ʿUmra and the Tawaf we returned to the Prophet ﷺ at dawn. He said, 'Have you performed the ' ʿUmra?' We replied in the affirmative. So he announced the departure amongst his companions and the people set out for the journey, and the Prophet: too left for Medina.'' [Machine] We departed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from Mecca to Medina. When we arrived at the Azraq Valley, he asked, "What valley is this?" They replied, "The Azraq Valley." He said, "It is as if I am seeing Moses, described by his height, hair, and color, with his fingers in his ears, supplicating to Allah, marching through this valley." Then we descended the valley until we reached. Dawud said, "I think this is Thaniyyat Harsha." He asked, "What is this Thaniyyah?" We replied, "Thaniyyat Harsha." He said, "It is as if I am seeing Jonah riding on a red camel, with the reins made of a worn-out sheath, wearing a cloak made of wool, riding during the day with this Thaniyyah as his destination."

[Machine] I asked Abu Tufayl, "What are the three corners that are attached to the Kaaba?" Abu Tufayl replied, "I asked Ibn Abbas about them, and he said that when the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ conquered the city of Makkah, the companions of the Prophet were informed that the Quraysh used to say they would feed the weak. So the companions said, 'O Messenger of Allah, if we eat from our back (animal) parts, eat from its fats and drink its broth, we will have enough until we meet the people, and we have with us our cooking pots.' The Prophet replied, 'No, bring me the best of your supplies.' So they spread out their containers and gathered all their food in them. The Prophet then made supplication for them, asking for blessings in the food. They ate until they were full and satisfied. They even filled their pouches with the remaining food. When the Prophet entered the gathering of the Quraysh, and they gathered near the Black Stone, the Prophet pointed with his finger, and then said to his companions, 'Let the people not see any resentment from you.' He then took the Yemeni corner and the Quraysh gradually dispersed. The Prophet, along with his companions, then approached the Black Stone and completed three circuits around it. This is why Quraysh used to say, as they passed by, 'They are like gazelles.' Ibn Abbas said, 'This was a practice (Sunnah) of the Prophet.'"

“During his ‘Umrah after Hudaibiyah – when they wanted to enter Makkah – the Prophet ﷺ said to his Companions: ‘Your people will see you tomorrow, so let them see you looking strong.’ When they entered the mosque, they touched the corner and started to walk briskly, and the Prophet ﷺ was with them. When they reached the Yemenite Corner, they walked normally to the Black Corner (the corner where the Black Stone is), then they walked briskly until they reached the Yemenite Corner, then they walked normally to the Black Corner. They did that three times, then they walked normally for four circuits.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2953)

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her, "O Aisha, if it were not for the fact that your people had recently come out of the period of ignorance, I would have demolished the Kaaba and rebuilt it in the way it was originally built by Ibrahim. I would have placed the stone which they took out of it back into its place and made it rest on the foundation of Ibrahim. I would have also added two doors to it; one on the east side and one on the west side." This is what Ibn Zubayr called for, to demolish the Kaaba and rebuild it.

When Ibn Az-Zubair was in power, he gave it two doors. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2902)

"We went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with no intention other than Hajj. When he was in Sarif [1] I began menstruating. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon me and I was weeping. He said: 'What is the matter with you? Has your Nifas begun?' [2] I said: 'Yes.' He said: 'This is something that Allah the Mighty and Sublime has decreed for the daughter of Adam. Do what the pilgrims do, but do not perform tawaf around the House.' And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sacrificed a cow on behalf of his wives." [1] Sarif is a place between Al-Madinah and Makkah, near Makkah. [2] Here, it means menstruation. See the chapter clarifying that where it appears again, No. 349. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 290)

I was menstruating when I reached Mecca. So, I neither performed Tawaf of the Kaʿba, nor the Tawaf between Safa and Marwa. Then I informed Messenger of Allah ﷺ about it. He replied, "Perform all the ceremonies of Hajj like the other pilgrims, but do not perform Tawaf of the Kaʿba till you get clean (from your menses)." (Using translation from Bukhārī 1650)
