The Prophet ﷺ said, "(Allah said), 'Every good deed of Adam's son is for him except fasting; it is for Me. and I shall reward (the fasting person) for it.' Verily, the smell of the mouth of a fasting person is better to Allah than the smell of musk."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ كُلُّ عَمَلِ ابْنِ آدَمَ لَهُ إِلاَّ الصَّوْمَ فَإِنَّهُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ وَلَخَلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ

Allah, the Majestic and the Exalted, said: Every act of the son of Adam is for him except fasting. It is done for My sake, and I will give a reward for it. By Allah in Whose Hand is the life of Muhammad, the breath of the observer of fast is sweeter to Allah than the fragrance of musk.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ قَالَ اللَّهُ ﷻ كُلُّ عَمَلِ ابْنِ آدَمَ لَهُ إِلاَّ الصِّيَامَ هُوَ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَخِلْفَةُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ

"Allah, may He be exalted, said: 'Fasting is for me and I shall reward for it. The fasting person has two moments of joy: When he breaks his fast and when he meets his Lord. And the smell that comes from the mouth of the fasting person is better before Allah than the fragrance of musk."' '

اللَّهُ ﷻ الصَّوْمُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ وَلِلصَّائِمِ فَرْحَتَانِ فَرْحَةٌ حِينَ يَلْقَى رَبَّهُ وَفَرْحَةٌ عِنْدَ إِفْطَارِهِ وَلَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ

"(Allah says) fasting is for me and I shall reward for it. The fasting person rejoices twice: when he breaks his fast and the day when he meets his Lord. And the smell that come from the mouth of the fasting person is better before Allah than the fragrance of musk." '

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ الصِّيَامُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ وَالصَّائِمُ يَفْرَحُ مَرَّتَيْنِ عِنْدَ فِطْرِهِ وَيَوْمَ يَلْقَى اللَّهَ وَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ

"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Allah, the mighty and sublime, said: Every deed of the son of Adam is for him, except fasting; it is for me and I shall reward for it. By the one in whose hand is the soul of Muhmmad, the smell coming from the mouth of the fasting person is better before Allah than the fragrance of musk." '

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ قَالَ اللَّهُ ﷻ كُلُّ عَمَلِ ابْنِ آدَمَ لَهُ إِلاَّ الصِّيَامَ هُوَ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَخِلْفَةُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The smell from the mouth of a fasting person is more pleasant to Allah on the Day of Judgment than the fragrance of musk."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ

[Machine] "That the Prophet ﷺ said, 'The smell of the mouth of a fasting person is sweeter to Allah on the Day of Resurrection than the fragrance of musk.'"

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ خُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُعِنْدَ اللهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ

[Machine] "On the authority of the Prophet of Allah ﷺ , he said, 'The smell of the breath of a fasting person is more pleasing to Allah than the scent of musk.' He said, 'This person has fasted for my sake and has abandoned his desires for food and drink for my sake. The fasting is for me and I shall reward it.'"

عَنْ نَبِيِّ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنْ فَيْحِ الْمِسْكِ قَالَ صَامَ هَذَا مِنْ أَجْلِي وَتَرَكَ شَهْوَتَهُ عَنِ الطَّعَامِ وَالشَّرَابِ مِنْ أَجْلِي فَالصَّوْمُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ

The Prophet ﷺ said that your Lord said, "Every (sinful) deed can be expiated; and the fast is for Me, so I will give the reward for it; and the smell which comes out of the mouth of a fasting person, is better in Allah's Sight than the smell of musk." (See Hadith No. 584) (Using translation from Bukhārī 7538)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يَرْوِيهِ عَنْ رَبِّكُمْ ﷻ كُلُّ الْعَمَلِ كَفَّارَةٌ وَالصَّوْمُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ وَلَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ

[Machine] "Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ that Allah says, 'Fasting is for Me and I alone reward for it. The smell from the mouth of a fasting person is more pleasant to Allah than the fragrance of musk.'"

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ يَعْنِي اللهَ يَقُولُ اللهُ ﷻ الصَّوْمُ هُوَ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ وَلَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ

"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Allah, the mighty and sublime, said: Every deed of the son of Adam is for him, except fasting; it is for me and I shall reward for it. قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ اللهُ ﷻكُلُّ عَمَلِ ابْنِ آدَمَ لَهُ إِلَّا الصِّيَامَ الصِّيَامُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ وَلَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ

[Machine] And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, the breath of the fasting person is sweeter to Allah than the fragrance of musk. The fasting person abstains from their desires, food, and drink for My sake, and I will reward them for it."

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ يَذَرُ شَهْوَتَهُ وَطَعَامَهُ وَشَرَابَهُ مِنْ جَرَّايَ فَالصِّيَامُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ who said, "The smell coming from the mouth of a fasting person is better in the sight of Allah than the scent of musk."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ

[Machine] I heard Abu Al-Qasim ﷺ saying: "The smell coming from the mouth of a fasting person is more pleasant to Allah than the scent of musk."

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ

[Machine] "The breath of the fasting person is more pleasant to Allah on the Day of Judgment than the fragrance of musk."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ خُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ

[Machine] "The breath of the fasting person is purer in the sight of Allah on the Day of Judgment than the scent of musk."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ خُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: "The breath of the fasting person is more pleasant to Allah than the scent of musk." He said: "Your Lord said: 'My servant has left his desire, food, and drink for My sake. The fasting is for Me and I will reward him for it.'"

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ قَالَ قَالَ رَبُّكُمْ ﷻ عَبْدِي تَرَكَ شَهْوَتَهُ وَطَعَامَهُ وَشَرَابَهُ ابْتِغَاءَ مَرْضَاتِي وَالصَّوْمُ لِي وَأَنَاأَجْزِي بِهِ

[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ, narrating from his Lord ﷻ: “For every deed there is an expiation, but fasting is for Me, and I Myself reward for it. And the odor from the mouth of the fasting person is more pleasing to Allah than the fragrance of musk.”

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يَرْوِيهِ عَنْ رَبِّهِ ﷻ قَالَ لِكُلِّ عَمَلٍ كَفَّارَةٌ وَالصَّوْمُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ وَلَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ «كُلُّ عَمَلِ ابْنِ آدَمَ لَهُ إِلَّا الصِّيَامَ وَالصِّيَامُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ وَلَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ»

"Allah, may He be exalted, said: 'Fasting is for me and I shall reward for it. The fasting person has two moments of joy: When he breaks his fast and when he meets his Lord. قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ اللهُ كُلُّ عَمَلِ ابْنِ آدَمَ لَهُ إِلَّا الصِّيَامُ الصِّيَامُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ وَلَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ

"Allah, may He be blessed and exalted, says: 'Fasting is for me and I shall reward for it. The fasting person has two moments of joy: When he breaks his fast and when he meets his Lord.' By the One in whose hand is my soul, the smell that comes from the mouth of the fasting person is better before Allah than the fragrance of musk." ' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2211)

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ اللهَ يَقُولُ الصَّوْمُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ وَلِلصَّائِمِ فَرْحَتَانِ حِينَ يُفْطِرُ وَحِينَ يَلْقَى رَبَّهُ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ قَالَ اللهُ كُلُّ عَمَلِ ابْنِ آدَمَ لَهُ إِلَّا الصِّيَامُ هُوَ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَخُلْفَةُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ

"قَال اللهُ ﷻ كُل عَمَلِ ابْن آدَمَ هُوَ لَهُ إلَّا الصومَ، هوَ لِي وأنا أجْزِى بِهِ، ولِلصَائِم فرحَتَانِ، فرحَةٌ حينَ يُمطرُ، وَفرحَةٌ حينَ يَلقَى رَبَهُ، ولخلوف فَم الصائِم أطيبُ عَندَ اللهِ مِنْ رَيح المِسْكِ".

"قَال رَبُّكْمُ: الصَّوْمُ جُنَّةٌ مِنَ النَّارِ، وَلِى الصَّوْمُ وَأنَا أجْزِى به يَدَعُ شَهْوَتَه وَطَعَامَهُ وَشَرَابَهُ مِنْ أجْلِى، لَخَلُوفُ فمِ الصائِم أطيَبُ عنْدَ اللهِ مِن ريح الْمِسْكِ".

"كُلُّ عَمَلِ ابْنِ آدَمَ لَه إلا الصِّيامَ، وَالصِّيامُ (* *) لي وَأَنَا أَجزى به، وَلَخُلُوفُ فَم الصَّائِم أطيَبُ عِنْدَ الله مِن رِيح الْمِسْكِ".
