The Prophet ﷺ said, "(Allah said), 'Every good deed of Adam's son is for him except fasting; it is for Me. and I shall reward (the fasting person) for it.' Verily, the smell of the mouth of a fasting person is better to Allah than the smell of musk."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ كُلُّ عَمَلِ ابْنِ آدَمَ لَهُ إِلاَّ الصَّوْمَ فَإِنَّهُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ وَلَخَلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ  

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah said: The Fast is for Me and I will give the reward for it, as he (the one who observes the fast) leaves his sexual desire, food and drink for My Sake. Fasting is a screen (from Hell) and there are two pleasures for a fasting person, one at the time of breaking his fast, and the other at the time when he will meet his Lord. And the smell of the mouth of a fasting person is better in Allah's Sight than the smell of musk." (See Hadith No. 128, Vol. 3).  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُ ﷻ الصَّوْمُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ يَدَعُ شَهْوَتَهُ وَأَكْلَهُ وَشُرْبَهُ مِنْ أَجْلِي وَالصَّوْمُ جُنَّةٌ وَلِلصَّائِمِ فَرْحَتَانِ فَرْحَةٌ حِينَ يُفْطِرُ وَفَرْحَةٌ حِينَ يَلْقَى رَبَّهُ وَلَخَلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ  

The Prophet ﷺ said that your Lord said, "Every (sinful) deed can be expiated; and the fast is for Me, so I will give the reward for it; and the smell which comes out of the mouth of a fasting person, is better in Allah's Sight than the smell of musk." (See Hadith No. 584)  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يَرْوِيهِ عَنْ رَبِّكُمْ قَالَ لِكُلِّ عَمَلٍ كَفَّارَةٌ وَالصَّوْمُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ وَلَخَلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ  

"Allah, may He be blessed and exalted, says: 'Fasting is for me and I shall reward for it. The fasting person has two moments of joy: When he breaks his fast and when he meets his Lord.' By the One in whose hand is my soul, the smell that comes from the mouth of the fasting person is better before Allah than the fragrance of musk." '  

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى يَقُولُ الصَّوْمُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ وَلِلصَّائِمِ فَرْحَتَانِ حِينَ يُفْطِرُ وَحِينَ يَلْقَى رَبَّهُ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ  

"Allah, may He be exalted, said: 'Fasting is for me and I shall reward for it. The fasting person has two moments of joy: When he breaks his fast and when he meets his Lord. And the smell that comes from the mouth of the fasting person is better before Allah than the fragrance of musk."' '  

اللَّهُ ﷻ الصَّوْمُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ وَلِلصَّائِمِ فَرْحَتَانِ فَرْحَةٌ حِينَ يَلْقَى رَبَّهُ وَفَرْحَةٌ عِنْدَ إِفْطَارِهِ وَلَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ  

"The Prophet said: 'Allah, may He be blessed and exalted, says: Fasting is for me I shall reward for it. The fasting person has two moments of joy: When he breaks his fast and when he meets his Lord. [Machine] "Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ that Allah says, 'Fasting is for Me and I alone reward for it. The smell from the mouth of a fasting person is more pleasant to Allah than the fragrance of musk.'"  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ يَعْنِي اللهَ يَقُولُ اللهُ ﷻ الصَّوْمُ هُوَ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ وَلَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ  

"The Prophet said: 'Allah, may He be blessed and exalted, says: Fasting is for me I shall reward for it. The fasting person has two moments of joy: When he breaks his fast and when he meets his Lord. By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, the smell that comes from the mouth of the fasting person is better before Allah than the fragrance of musk." قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللهَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ الصَّوْمَ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ إِنَّ لِلصَّائِمِ فَرْحَتَيْنِإِذَا أَفْطَرَ فَرِحَ وَإِذَا لَقِيَ اللهَ فَجَزَاهُ فَرِحَ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ  

"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Allah, the mighty and sublime, said: Every deed of the son of Adam is for him, except fasting; it is for me and I shall reward for it. By the one in whose hand is the soul of Muhmmad, the smell coming from the mouth of the fasting person is better before Allah than the fragrance of musk." ' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2218)   

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ اللهُ ﷻكُلُّ عَمَلِ ابْنِ آدَمَ لَهُ إِلَّا الصِّيَامَ الصِّيَامُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ وَلَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ  

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ who said, "The smell coming from the mouth of a fasting person is better in the sight of Allah than the scent of musk."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ  

"Allah, may He be exalted, said: 'Fasting is for me and I shall reward for it. The fasting person has two moments of joy: When he breaks his fast and when he meets his Lord. And the smell that comes from the mouth of the fasting person is better before Allah than the fragrance of musk."' ' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2212)   

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِلصَّائِمِ فَرْحَتَانِفَرْحَةٌ عِنْدَ فِطْرِهِ وَفَرْحَةٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ  

The Prophet ﷺ said that your Lord said, "Every (sinful) deed can be expiated; and the fast is for Me, so I will give the reward for it; and the smell which comes out of the mouth of a fasting person, is better in Allah's Sight than the smell of musk." قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ وَلِلصَّائِمِ فَرْحَتَانِ فَرْحَةٌ عِنْدَ فِطْرِهِ وَفَرْحَةٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ  

The Prophet ﷺ said, "(Allah said), 'Every good deed of Adam's son is for him except fasting; it is for Me. and I shall reward (the fasting person) for it.' Verily, the smell of the mouth of a fasting person is better to Allah than the smell of musk." (Using translation from Bukhārī 5927)  

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ «كُلُّ عَمَلِ ابْنِ آدَمَ لَهُ إِلَّا الصِّيَامَ وَالصِّيَامُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ وَلَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ»  

[Machine] Narrated Ibn Mas'ud: The Prophet ﷺ said, "There are two joys for the fasting person: a joy when he breaks his fast and a joy when he meets his Lord. And the odor of the mouth of a fasting person is more pleasant to Allah than the scent of musk."  

عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ بَلَغَ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «لِلصَّائِمِ فَرْحَتَانِ؛ فَرْحَةٌ عِنْدَ فِطْرِهِ وَفَرْحَةٌ حِينَ يَلْقَى رَبَّهُ وَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ»  

"Allah, may He be exalted, said: 'Fasting is for me and I shall reward for it. The fasting person has two moments of joy: When he breaks his fast and when he meets his Lord. And the smell that comes from the mouth of the fasting person is better before Allah than the fragrance of musk."' ' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2212)

"Allah, may He be exalted, said: 'Fasting is for me and I shall reward for it. The fasting person has two moments of joy: When he breaks his fast and when he meets his Lord. And the smell that comes from the mouth of the fasting person is better before Allah than the fragrance of musk."' ' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2212)  

اللهُ الصَّوْمُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ وَلِلصَّائِمِ فَرْحَتَانِ فَرْحَةٌ حِينَ يَلْقَى رَبَّهُ وَفَرْحَةٌ عِنْدَ إِفْطَارِهِ وَلَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ  

"The Prophet said: 'Allah, may He be blessed and exalted, says: Fasting is for me I shall reward for it. The fasting person has two moments of joy: When he breaks his fast and when he meets his Lord. By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, the smell that comes from the mouth of the fasting person is better before Allah than the fragrance of musk." قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِنَّ اللهَ يَقُولُ الصَّوْمُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ لِلصَّائِمِ فَرْحَتَانِ إِذَا أَفْطَرَ فَرِحَ وَإِذَا لَقِيَ اللهَ فَجَزَاهُ فَرَح وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ  

"(Allah says) fasting is for me and I shall reward for it. The fasting person rejoices twice: when he breaks his fast and the day when he meets his Lord. And the smell that come from the mouth of the fasting person is better before Allah than the fragrance of musk." ' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2214)  

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ قَالَ اللهُ الصِّيَامُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ وَالصَّائِمُ يُفْرَحُ مَرَّتَيْنِ عِنْدَ فِطْرِهِ وَيَوْمَ يَلْقَى اللهَ وَلَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ  

The Prophet ﷺ said, "(Allah said), 'Every good deed of Adam's son is for him except fasting; it is for Me. and I shall reward (the fasting person) for it.' Verily, the smell of the mouth of a fasting person is better to Allah than the smell of musk." (Using translation from Bukhārī 5927)   

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ اللهُ كُلُّ عَمَلِ ابْنِ آدَمَ لَهُ إِلَّا الصِّيَامُ الصِّيَامُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ وَلَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah, the Exalted, said: 'Fasting is for Me and I reward it accordingly. For the fasting person, there are two joys: one at the time of breaking his fast and the other at the time of meeting his Lord. And the smell coming out from the mouth of a fasting person is more pleasant to Allah than the fragrance of musk.'"  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ اللهُ ﷻ الصَّوْمُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ وَلِلصَّائِمِ فَرْحَتَانِ إِذَا أَفْطَرَ فَرِحَ وَإِذَا لَقِيَ رَبَّهُ فَجَزَاهُ فَرِحَ وَلَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ  

Allah, the Exalted and Majestic, said: Fast (is exclusively) meant for Me and I would give its reward. There are two (occasions) of joy for the observer of fast. He feels joy when he breaks the fast and he is happy when he meets Allah. By Allah in Whose Hand is the life of Muhammad, the breath of the observer of fast is sweeter to Allah than the fragrance of musk. (Using translation from Muslim 1151f)   

"إِنَّ الله ﷻ يقولُ إِنَّ: الصومَ لِيَ، وَأنَا أجْزِى بِهِ. إِن

لِلصائم فَرْحَتَين إِذَا أفْطَرَ فَرِحَ، وَإذا لَقِيَ الله فجزاهُ فَرحَ، والذي نَفْسُ مُحَمدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَخُلُوفُ فَم الصائِم أطيَبُ عِنْدَ الله مِنْ ريحِ المِسْكِ".  

"قَال اللهُ ﷻ كُل عَمَلِ ابْن آدَمَ هُوَ لَهُ إلَّا الصومَ، هوَ لِي وأنا أجْزِى بِهِ، ولِلصَائِم فرحَتَانِ، فرحَةٌ حينَ يُمطرُ، وَفرحَةٌ حينَ يَلقَى رَبَهُ، ولخلوف فَم الصائِم أطيبُ عَندَ اللهِ مِنْ رَيح المِسْكِ".  

"كُلُّ عَمَلِ ابْنِ آدَمَ لَه إلا الصِّيامَ، وَالصِّيامُ (* *) لي وَأَنَا أَجزى به، وَلَخُلُوفُ فَم الصَّائِم أطيَبُ عِنْدَ الله مِن رِيح الْمِسْكِ".  

"عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: قَالَ اللهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى: الصَّومُ لِى وَأَنَا أَجْزِى به، وَلِلصَّائِمِ فَرْحَتَانِ: فَرْحَةٌ عِنْدَ لِقَاءِ ربِّهِ، وَفَرْحَةٌ عِنْدَ إِفْطَارِهِ، وَلَخَلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللهِ مَنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ".  

"عن علىٍّ عنِ النبىِّ ﷺ قَالَ: إِنَّ الله يَقُولُ: الصَّوْمُ لِى وَأَنَا أَجْزِى بِهِ، وَللصَّائِمِ فَرْحَتَانِ عِنْدَ الْفِطْرِ، وَحِينَ يَلْقَى رَبَّهُ - ﷻ - وَالَّذِى نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَخَلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ الله مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ".
