There is none whose deeds alone would entitle him to get into Paradise. It was said to him: And, Messenger of Allah, not even you? Thereupon he said: Not even I, but that my Lord wraps me in Mercy.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ يُدْخِلُهُ عَمَلُهُ الْجَنَّةَ فَقِيلَ وَلاَ أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ وَلاَ أَنَا إِلاَّ أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِي رَبِّي بِرَحْمَةٍ

There is none whose deeds alone can'secure salvation for him. They said: Messenger of Allah, not even you? Thereupon he said: Not even I, but that, the Mercy of Allah should take hold of me.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ يُنْجِيهِ عَمَلُهُ قَالُوا وَلاَ أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ وَلاَ أَنَا إِلاَّ أَنْ يَتَدَارَكَنِيَ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ

None amongst you can get. into Paradise by virtue of his deeds alone. They said: Messenger of Allah, not even you? Thereupon he said: Not even I, but that Allah should wrap me in His Grace and Mercy.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَنْ يُدْخِلَ أَحَدًا مِنْكُمْ عَمَلُهُ الْجَنَّةَ قَالُوا وَلاَ أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ وَلاَ أَنَا إِلاَّ أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِيَ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ بِفَضْلٍ وَرَحْمَةٍ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Keep to the right course and do your best, and know that none of you will be saved by his deeds." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, not even you?" He said: "Not even I, unless Allah ﷻ covers me with mercy and favor from Him."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «قَارِبُوا وَسَدِّدُوا، وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّهُ لَنْ يَنْجُوَ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ بِعَمَلِهِ». قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، وَلاَ أَنْتَ؟ قَالَ: «وَلاَ أَنَا، إِلاَّ أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِيَ اللَّهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ مِنْهُ وَفَضْلٍ».

“Be moderate and adhere to moderation, for there is no one among you who will be saved by his deeds.” They said: “Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?” He said: “Not even me. Unless Allah encompasses me with mercy and grace from Him.”

[Machine] I heard Abu Al-Qasim ﷺ saying, "By the One in whose hand is my soul, there is none among you but that his deeds will admit him into Paradise." They said, "Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Not even me, unless Allah envelops me in His mercy and grace and places His hand on my head."

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ يَقُولُ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنْ مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ يُدْخِلُهُ عَمَلُهُ الْجَنَّةَ قَالُوا وَلَا أَنْتَ؟ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ وَلَا أَنَا إِلَّا أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِي اللهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ مِنْهُ وَفَضْلٍ وَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ

[Machine] I heard Abu Al-Qasim ﷺ saying, "Is there anyone among you whose deeds will admit him into Paradise?" They said, "Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Not even me, unless Allah encompasses me with His mercy." Then he gently tapped his hand on his head.

Observe moderation in deeds (and if it is not possible, try to be near moderation) and understand that none amongst you can attain salvation because of his deeds alone. They said: Messenger of Allah, not even you? Thereupon he said: Not even I, but that Allah should wrap me in His Mercy and Grace. (Using translation from Muslim 2816g)

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying, "No one will enter Paradise by their deeds alone." We asked, "Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "No, not even me unless Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, bestows His mercy upon me." And he placed his hand on his head.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ بِعَمَلٍ» قُلْنَا وَلَا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ «لَا وَلَا أَنَا إِلَّا أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِي اللهُ ﷻ بِرَحْمَةٍ مِنْهُ» وَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "None of you will be saved by his actions alone." They said, "Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Not even me, unless Allah covers me with His mercy. So strive, draw near, and seek closeness. And in the morning and evening, walk and take measured steps. Aim for your goal and you will reach it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا مِنْكُمْ أَحَدٌ يُنَجِّيهِ عَمَلُهُ قَالُوا وَلَا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ وَلَا أَنَا إِلَّا أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِي اللهُ مِنْهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ سَدِّدُوا وَقَارِبُوا أَوْ قَرِّبُوا وَرُوحُوا وَاغْدُوا وَخُطًى مِنَ الدُّلْجَةِ وَالْقَصْدَ الْقَصْدَ تَبْلُغُوا

Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, "None of you will be saved by his actions?" "Not even you, Messenger of Allah?" they asked. "Not even me," he replied, "unless Allah covers me with mercy from Him. But act correctly and wisely and worship in the morning and evening and during part of the night. Keep to a middle path and you will arrive."

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لَنْ يُنَجِّي أَحَدًا مِنْكُمْ عَمَلٌ قَالُوا وَلاَ أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ وَلاَ أَنَا إِلاَّ أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِي اللَّهُ مِنْهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ فَسَدِّدُوا وَقَارِبُوا وَاغْدُوا وَرُوحُوا وَشَيْءٌ مِنَ الدُّلْجَةِ وَالْقَصْدَ الْقَصْدَ تَبْلُغُوا

اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم لن ينجي أحدًا منكم عمله قالوا ولاَ أنت يا رَسولَ اللهِ قال ولاَ أنا إلاَّ أن يتغمدني الله منه بفضل ورحمة وَلكن قاربوا وأبشروا

اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم لا ينجي أَحَدًا منكم عمله فقال رجل ولاَ أنت يا رَسولَ اللهِ قال ولاَ أنا إلاَّ أن يتغمدني الله منه برحمة

اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سددوا وقاربوا وأبشروا إنه لا ينجي أحدا عمله قالوا يا رسول الله ولا أنت قال ولا أنا إلا إن يتغمديني الله برحمة وفضل

اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لن ينجي أحد منكم عمله قالوا ولا أنت يا رسول الله قال ولا أنا إلا أن يتغمدني الله منه برحمة وفضل ولو يؤاخذني أنا وعيسى بن جنى هذين لأوبقنا وأشار بالسبابة والوسطى

اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ما منكم ن أحد يدخل الجنة بعمله قالوا ولا أنت قال ولا أنا إلا أن يتغمدني الله منه برحمة وفضل

اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لا ينجي أحدا منكم عمله قالوا ولا أنت يا رسول الله قال ولا أنا إلا أن يتغمدني الله منه برحمته وفضل

اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قال لا يدخل أحدا عمله الجنة ولا يخرجه من النار قالوا ولا أنت قال ولا أنا إلا أن يتغمدني الله منه برحمة وفضل سالم أبو جميع

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The deeds of anyone of you will not save you (from the (Hell) Fire)." They said, "Even you (will not be saved by your deeds), O Messenger of Allah ﷺ?" He said, "No, even I (will not be saved) unless and until Allah bestows His Mercy on me. Therefore, do good deeds properly, sincerely and moderately, and worship Allah in the forenoon and in the afternoon and during a part of the night, and always adopt a middle, moderate, regular course whereby you will reach your target (Paradise). قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ أَحَدًا مِنْكُمْ لَا يُنْجِيهُ عَمَلُهُ» قَالُوا وَلَا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ «وَلَا أَنَا إِلَّا أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِي اللَّهُ بِرَحْمَتِهِ وَلَكِنْ اغْدُوا وَرُوحُوا وَشَيْئًا مِنَ الدُّلْجَةِ الْقَصْدَ الْقَصْدَ تَبْلُغُونَ»

"مَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ يُدْخِلُهُ عَمَلُهُ الجَنَّةَ، قِيلَ: وَلَا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَال: وَلَا أَنَا إلا أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدنى اللهُ منْهُ برَحْمَةٍ".

"مَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ يُنْجيهِ عَمَلُهُ، قِيلَ: وَلَا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَال: وَلَا أَنَا إلا أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِى اللهُ برَحْمَتِهِ، وَلَكِنْ سَدِّدُوا".

"مَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحدٍ إلا وَلَهُ شَيطَانٌ، قَالُوا: وَلَك يا رَسُولَ الله؟ ، قال: وَلِى، وَلَكِنَّ اللهَ أَعَانَنِى فأَسْلَمَ، وَما مِنْكُمْ منْ أَحَدٍ يُدْخِلُهُ عَملُه الْجَنَّة، قَالُوا: وَلَا أنْتَ يا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قال: ولا أَنَا إلا أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِى رَبِّى بِرَحْمَتِهِ".

"مَا مِنْ أَحَد يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ بِعَمَلِه، قَالُوا وَلا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَال وَلا أَنَا إلا أنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِي اللهُ بِرَحْمَة (*) منْه".

"لَنْ يَدْخُلَ أحَدٌ الجَنَّةَ إِلَّا بِرَحْمَةِ اللهِ، قَالُوا: ولا أنْتَ؟ ، قال: ولا أنَا إِلا أنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِى اللهُ".

"لَنْ يَدْخلَ الجَنَّةَ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ بِعَمَلٍ، قَالُوا: ولا أنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ ، قال: وَلَا أَنا إِلَّا أَنْ يَتَغَمَدَنِى مِنْهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ وَفضْلٍ".

"قَارِبُوا، وَسَدِّدُوا، وَأَبْشِرُوا، وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّهُ لَنْ يَنْجُوَ أحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ بِعَمَلِهِ، قَالُوا: وَلَا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَال: وَلَا أَنَا إِلَّا أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِى اللهُ ﷻ برَحْمَةٍ مِنْهُ، وَفَضْلٍ".

"سَدِّدُوا وَقَاربُوا وَأَبْشِرُوا، وَاعْلَمُوا أنَّهُ لَنْ يُدْخِلَ أَحَدَكُمْ عَمَلُهُ الْجَنَّةَ، قَالُوا: وَلَا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ: وَلَا أَنَا إِلَّا أَنْ يتَغَمْدَنِى الله بِمَغْفِرَةٍ وَرَحْمَةٍ".

"سَدِّدُوا وَقَارِبُوا، وَلَا يُنْجى أَحَدًا مِنْكُمْ عَمَلُهُ، قَالُوا: وَلَا أَنْت يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ: وَلَا أنَا إِلَّا أنْ يَتَغمَّدَنِى اللهُ مِنْهُ برَحْمَة".

"لَا يُنَجِّي أحَدًا عَمَلُهُ، قَالُوا: وَلَا أَنْتَ؟ قَال: وَلَا أنَا إلا أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدنِي الله مِنْهُ بِرَحْمَتِهِ، فَسَدِّدُوا وقَاربُوا، واغْدُوا ورُوحُوا، وشَيئًا مِنَ الدُّلْجَةِ، وَالقَصْدَ القَصْدَ تَبْلُغُوا".

"عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ سَدِّدُوا وَقَارِبُوا وَبَشِّرُوا فَإِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ لَنْ يُنْجِيَهُ عَمَلُهُ، قَالُوا: وَلَا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ: وَلَا أَنَا (إلا) أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِي اللهُ بِرَحْمتِهِ".
