14. Chapter of Shīn (Male)
١٤۔ بَابُ الشِّينِ
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying to Ali, "Rejoice, O Ali, for your life and death are with me."
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لِعَلِيٍّ ؓ «أَبْشِرْ يَا عَلِيُّ حَيَاتُكَ وَمَوْتُكَ مَعِي»
None amongst you can get. into Paradise by virtue of his deeds alone. They said: Messenger of Allah, not even you? Thereupon he said: Not even I, but that Allah should wrap me in His Grace and Mercy. (Using translation from Muslim 2816f)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَنْ يَدْخُلَ الْجَنَّةَ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ بِعَمَلٍ» قَالُوا وَلَا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ «وَلَا أَنَا إِلَّا أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِيَ اللهُ مِنْهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ وَفَضْلٍ»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ أَحَدٌ بِعَمَلٍ» قَالُوا وَلَا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ «وَلَا أَنَا إِلَّا يَتَغَمَّدَنِيَ اللهُ مِنْهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ وَفَضْلٍ»
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "None of you will enter Paradise by his deeds alone." They said, "Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Not even me, unless Allah envelops me in His mercy."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ بِعَمَلٍ» قَالُوا وَلَا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ «وَلَا أَنَا إِلَّا يَتَغَمَّدَنِيَ اللهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ»
There is none whose deeds alone would entitle him to get into Paradise. It was said to him: And, Messenger of Allah, not even you? Thereupon he said: Not even I, but that my Lord wraps me in Mercy. (Using translation from Muslim 2816c)
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ يُدْخِلُهُ عَمَلُهُ الْجَنَّةَ» قَالُوا وَلَا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ «وَلَا أَنَا إِلَّا يَتَغَمَّدَنِي اللهُ مِنْهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is not one among you except that he has a devil." They asked, "Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied, "Even me, but Allah has aided me against him, so he has submitted."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَا مِنْكُمْ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا لَهُ شَيْطَانٌ» قَالُوا وَلَا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ «وَلَا أَنَا إِلَّا أَنَّ اللهَ أَعَانَنِي عَلَيْهِ فَأَسْلَمَ»
