14. Chapter of Shīn (Male)
“The wise man is the one who takes account of himself and strives for that which is after death. And the helpless man is the one who follows his own whims then indulges in wishful thinking about Allah.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4260)
[Machine] Two narrations that I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ : He said, "I asked, 'And what are they?' He said, 'I entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and noticed something displeasing in his face. I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, what is this that I see on your face?' He said, 'There are two things that I fear for my Ummah after me: polytheism and hidden desires.' I asked, 'Is that polytheism?' He said, 'Yes.' I asked, 'And what is the hidden desire?' He said, 'A slave wakes up fasting and then his desire tempts him, so he indulges in it and abandons his fast.'"
