[Machine] He said, "I used to walk with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in some streets of Medina while he held my hand, when he saw a man shaving in Ramadan, he said, 'The one who shaves and the one who is being shaved have both broken their fast.'"  

قَالَ كُنْتُ أَمْشِي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي بَعْضِ طُرُقِ الْمَدِينَةِ وَهُوَ آخِذٌ بِيَدِي إِذْ أَبْصَرَ رَجُلًا يَحْتَجِمُ فِي رَمَضَانَ فَقَالَ «أَفْطَرَ الْحَاجِمُ وَالْمَحْجُومُ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever recites poetry after the evening prayer, Allah will not accept his prayer for that night."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ قَرْضَ بَيْتَ شِعْرٍ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ لَمْ يَقْبَلِ اللهُ لَهُ تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةَ صَلَاةً»  

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet, ﷺ , he said, "Whoever performs the complete ablution and takes a bath on the day of Friday, and dresses nicely, then comes early and sits close to the imam, listens attentively and remains quiet, for him there would be a reward of one year's fasting and one year's voluntary night prayer for every step he takes."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ غَسَّلَ وَاغْتَسَلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَغَدَا وَابْتَكَرَ ثُمَّ جَلَسَ قَرِيبًا مِنَ الْإِمَامِ فَاسْتَمَعَ وَأَنْصَتَ كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ خَطَاهَا عَمَلَ سَنَةٍ صِيَامَهَا وَقِيَامَهَا»  

[Machine] To Messenger of Allah ﷺ , O Shaddad bin Aws, when you see people amassing gold and silver, then store these words. O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in the matter (of faith) and determination upon righteousness. I ask You for what incites Your mercy and what brings about Your forgiveness. I ask You for gratitude for Your blessings and good worship of You. I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue. I ask You for the best of what You know. And I seek refuge in You from the evil of what You know. And I seek Your forgiveness for what You know. Indeed, You are the Knower of the unseen.  

لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَا شَدَّادُ بْنَ أَوْسٍ إِذَا رَأَيْتَ النَّاسَ قَدِ اكْتَنَزُوا الذَّهَبَ وَالْفِضَّةَ فَاكْنِزْ هَؤُلَاءِ الْكَلِمَاتِ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الثَّبَاتَ فِي الْأَمْرِ وَالْعَزِيمَةَ عَلَى الرُّشْدِ وَأَسْأَلُكَ مُوجِبَاتِ رَحْمَتِكَ وَعَزَائِمَ مَغْفِرَتِكَ وَأَسْأَلُكَ شُكْرَ نِعْمَتِكَ وَحُسْنَ عِبَادَتِكَ وَأَسْأَلُكَ قَلْبًا سَلِيمًا وَلِسَانًا صَادِقًا وَأَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ مَا تَعْلَمُ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا تَعْلَمُ وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِمَا تَعْلَمُ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوبِ  

[Machine] He has severe glad tidings of the expiation of sins and the forgiveness of sins. Indeed, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Verily Allah says: When I test my believing servant and he praises Me for what I have tested him with, then it is from his own bed as if he were born from his mother's womb, free from sins. And the Lord (glory be to Him) says: I have reserved this servant and tested him, so reward him with what you used to reward him with before, and it is authentic."  

لَهُ شَدَّادٌ أَبْشِرْ بِكَفَّارَاتِ السَّيِّئَاتِ وَحَطِّ الْخَطَايَا إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ يَقُولُ إِذَا ابْتَلَيْتُ عَبْدًا مِنْ عِبَادِي مُؤْمِنًا فَحَمِدَنِي عَلَى مَا ابْتَلَيْتُهُ فَإِنَّهُ مِنْ مَضْجَعِهِ كَيَوْمِ وَلَدَتْهُ أُمُّهُ مِنَ الْخَطَايَا وَيَقُولُ الرَّبُّ ﷻُّ أَنَا قَيَّدْتُ عَبْدِيَ هَذَا وَابْتَلَيْتُهُ فَأَجْرُوا لَهُ مَا كُنْتُمْ تُجْرُونَ لَهُ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ وَهُوَ صَحِيحٌ
