The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever washes (ghassala) and performs ghusl, and comes early to the masjid and sits near the imam, is attentive and does not engage in idle talk, for every step he takes he will have (the reward of) a year's worth of good deeds, its fasting and Qiyam prayer."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ غَسَّلَ وَاغْتَسَلَ وَابْتَكَرَ وَغَدَا وَدَنَا مِنَ الإِمَامِ وَأَنْصَتَ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَلْغُ كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ كَأَجْرِ سَنَةٍ صِيَامِهَا وَقِيَامِهَا

The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever washes (Ghassala) and performs Ghusl, comes early to the Masjid and sits near the Imam, and does not engage in idle talk, he will have for every step he takes (the reward of) a year's worth of good deeds, fasting it and praying Qiyam during it."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ غَسَّلَ وَاغْتَسَلَ وَغَدَا وَابْتَكَرَ وَدَنَا مِنَ الإِمَامِ وَلَمْ يَلْغُ كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ عَمَلُ سَنَةٍ صِيَامُهَا وَقِيَامُهَا

I heard the apostle of Allah ﷺ say: If anyone makes (his wife) wash and he washes himself on Friday, goes out early (for Friday prayer), attends the sermon from the beginning, walking, not riding, takes his seat near the imam, listens attentively, and does not indulge in idle talk, he will get the reward of a year's fasting and praying at night for every step he takes.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ غَسَّلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَاغْتَسَلَ ثُمَّ بَكَّرَ وَابْتَكَرَ وَمَشَى وَلَمْ يَرْكَبْ وَدَنَا مِنَ الإِمَامِ فَاسْتَمَعَ وَلَمْ يَلْغُ كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ عَمَلُ سَنَةٍ أَجْرُ صِيَامِهَا وَقِيَامِهَا

“I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: ‘Whoever takes a bath on Friday, and bathes completely, and goes early, arriving early,* and walks and does not ride (to the mosque), and sits close to the Imam and listens to him, and does not engage in idle talk; for every step he takes he will have the reward of one year, the reward of a year’s fasting and praying (at night).”

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ غَسَّلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَاغْتَسَلَ وَبَكَّرَ وَابْتَكَرَ وَمَشَى وَلَمْ يَرْكَبْ وَدَنَا مِنَ الإِمَامِ فَاسْتَمَعَ وَلَمْ يَلْغُ كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خَطْوَةٍ عَمَلُ سَنَةٍ أَجْرُ صِيَامِهَا وَقِيَامِهَا

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever washes, purifies, dresses, gets closer, approaches, listens, and pays attention, for every step he takes, he will be rewarded with the reward of observing a year's worth of fasting and prayers."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ غَسَّلَ وَاغْتَسَلَ وَغَدَا وَابْتَكَرَ وَدَنَا فَاقْتَرَبَ وَاسْتَمَعَ وَأَنْصَتَ كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ يَخْطُوهَا أَجْرُ قِيَامِ سَنَةٍ وَصِيَامِهَا

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "When it is Friday, one of you should wash his head and bathe, then go early or soon, listen attentively and remain quiet. For every step he takes, he will receive the reward of fasting a year and praying a year."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ فَغَسَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ رَأْسَهُ وَاغْتَسَلَ ثُمَّ غَدَا أَوْ ابْتَكَرَ ثُمَّ دَنَا فَاسْتَمَعَ وَأَنْصَتَ كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ خَطَاهَا كَصِيَامِ سَنَةٍ وَقِيَامِ سَنَةٍ

I heard the apostle of Allah ﷺ say: If anyone makes (his wife) wash and he washes himself on Friday, goes out early (for Friday prayer), attends the sermon from the beginning, walking, not riding, takes his seat near the imam, listens attentively, and does not indulge in idle talk, he will get the reward of a year's fasting and praying at night for every step he takes. [Machine] On the authority of the Prophet, ﷺ , he said, "Whoever performs ritual ablution on the day of Friday, then cleanses himself and goes to the mosque, then sits close to the Imam until he listens attentively, for every step he takes he will receive the reward of a year of fasting and praying."

عَنْ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ اغْتَسَلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَغَسَّلَ ثُمَّ ابْتَكَرَ وَغَدَا إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ ثُمَّ جَلَسَ قَرِيبًا مِنَ الْإِمَامِ حَتَّى يُنْصِتَ كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ خَطَاهَا عَمَلُ سَنَةٍ صِيَامُهَا وَقِيَامُهَا

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever performs ablution and then goes to the mosque, attending the prayer of the Imam without any delay, listens attentively and remains silent, will receive the reward of fasting and standing in prayer for every step he takes towards the mosque."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ غَسَّلَ وَاغْتَسَلَ ثُمَّ غَدَا فَابْتَكَرَ وَجَلَسَ مِنَ الْإِمَامِ قَرِيبًا فَاسْتَمَعَ وَأَنْصَتَ كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خَطْوَةٍ أَجْرُ سَنَةٍ صِيَامُهَا وَقِيَامُهَا

[Machine] Abu Al-As'ath Al-San'aani, narrated from Aws bin Aws, who narrated from the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , that he said, "Whoever performs ghusl (ritual washing) and takes a bath on the day of Friday, then goes early and sits close to the imam (leader of prayer), listens attentively, and does not engage in idle talk until the imam finishes the prayer, will receive the reward of fasting and praying the whole year for every step he takes."

عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ يَرُدُّهُ إِلَى أَوْسِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ يَرُدُّهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ غَسَّلَ وَاغْتَسَلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ ثُمَّ غَدَا وَابْتَكَرَ ثُمَّ جَلَسَ قَرِيبًا مِنَ الْإِمَامِ وَأَنْصَتَ وَلَمْ يَلْغُ حَتَّى يَنْصَرِفَ الْإِمَامُ كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ يَخْطُوهَا كَعَمَلِ سَنَةٍ صِيَامِهَا وَقِيَامِهَا»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever washes and purifies himself, then goes early and sits close to the Imam, listening and being attentive, will have the reward of fasting and praying the whole year for every step he takes."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ غَسَلَ وَاغْتَسَلَ ثُمَّ غَدَا وَابْتَكَرَ فَجَلَسَ مِنَ الْإِمَامِ قَرِيبًا فَاسْتَمَعَ وَأَنْصَتَ كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ أَجْرُ سَنَةٍ صِيَامُهَا وَقِيَامُهَا»

[Machine] "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Whoever washes on the day of Friday, then takes a bath, and hastens and comes early, listens attentively and remains silent, and does not harm, Allah will write for him a reward of fasting and praying for every step he takes as if it were a year.'"

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ « مَنْ غَسَّلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَاغْتَسَلَ ثُمَّ بَكَّرَ وَابْتَكَرَ وَمَشَى فَدَنَا وَاسْتَمَعَ وَأَنْصَتَ وَلَمْ يَلْغُ كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ يَخْطُوهَا عَمَلَ سَنَةٍ صِيَامَهَا وَقِيَامَهَا»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever performs ablution, purifies themselves, wears clean clothes, and approaches the Imam, then listens attentively and does not indulge in idle talk during Friday prayer, Allah will reward them for every step they take towards the mosque with the reward of fasting and praying for a year."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ غَسَلَ وَاغْتَسَلَ وَغَدَا وَابْتَكَرَ وَدَنَا مِنَ الْإِمَامِ فَأَنْصَتَ وَلَمْ يَلْغُ فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ كَتَبَ اللهُ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ خَطَاهَا إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ صِيَامَ سَنَةٍ وَقِيَامِهَا»

[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "Whoever performs the ritual washing (ghusl) and performs ablution (wudu) on the day of Friday, and goes early to the Friday prayer and sits close to the Imam and listens attentively, will receive the reward of fasting a whole year and standing in prayer a whole year, and this is easy for Allah."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ غَسَّلَ وَاغْتَسَلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَبَكَّرَ وَابْتَكَرَ وَدَنَا مِنَ الْإِمَامِ فَأَنْصَتَ كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ يَخْطُوهَا صِيَامُ سَنَةٍ وَقِيَامُهَا وَذَلِكَ عَلَى اللهِ يَسِيرٌ»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever performs ablution and then goes to the mosque, then sits near the Imam, listening and being attentive, will have the reward of a year's worth of fasting and praying for every step he takes."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ غَسَّلَ وَغَدَا فَابْتَكَرَ ثُمَّ جَلَسَ قَرِيبًا مِنَ الْإِمَامِ فَاسْتَمَعَ وَأَنْصَتَ كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ يَخْطُوهَا أَجْرُ سَنَةٍ صِيَامُهَا وَقِيَامُهَا»

[Machine] "On the day of Friday, the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Whoever washes, purifies himself, goes early and gets close, and listens attentively, will have the reward of a whole year's worth of fasting and praying for every step he takes from his home to the mosque.'"

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ «مَنْ غَسَّلَ وَاغْتَسَلَ وَبَكَّرَ وَدَنَا فَاسْتَمَعَ كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ يَخْطُوهَا مِنْ بَيْتِهِ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ أَجْرُ سَنَةٍ صِيَامُهَا وَقِيَامُهَا»

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ who said, "When it is the day of Friday, let one of you wash his head and take a bath, then proceed early to the Friday prayer and come close to the imam and listen attentively and remain quiet. For every step he takes, he will receive the reward of fasting a year and praying a year."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ فَغَسَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ رَأْسَهُ وَاغْتَسَلَ ثُمَّ غَدَا وَابْتَكَرَ وَدَنَا وَاسْتَمَعَ وَأَنْصَتَ كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ يَخْطُوهَا صِيَامُ سَنَةٍ وَقِيَامُ سَنَةٍ»

[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ , "Whoever performs ritual purification and takes a bath on Friday, then goes or rests or stays in the mosque, then sits and listens attentively, will have rewards equivalent to the rewards of a whole year of prayers and fasting for every step he takes."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ غَسَّلَ وَاغْتَسَلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ ثُمَّ غَدَا أَوْ رَاحَ أَوِ ابْتَكَرَ ثُمَّ دَنَا وَأَنْصَتَ وَاسْتَمَعَ كَانَ لَهُ بِقَدْرِ كُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ يَخْطُوهَا كَأَجْرِ قِيَامِ سَنَةٍ وَصِيَامِ سَنَةٍ»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever performs ablution and then goes to the mosque, and sits near the imam, listening and paying attention, will be rewarded with the reward of a year of fasting and praying for every step he takes."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ غَسَّلَ وَاغْتَسَلَ ثُمَّ غَدَا وَابْتَكَرَ وَجَلَسَ قَرِيبًا مِنَ الْإِمَامِ فَاسْتَمَعَ وَأَنْصَتْ كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خَطْوَةٍ أَجْرُ سَنَةِ صِيَامُهَا وَقِيَامُهَا»

"مَنْ غَسَلَ يَوْمَ الجُمُعَةِ وَاغتَسَلَ وَغَدَا وَابْتكَرَ، وَدنَا فَاستَمَع وَأَنصَتَ، كَانَ لَهُ كِفْلانِ مِنَ الأَجْرِ".

"مَنْ غَسَلَ واغْتَسَلَ يَوْمَ الجُمُعَةِ، وَبَكَّرَ وَابْتَكَرَ، وَدنَا مِنَ الإِمَام فَأَنْصَتَ، كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطوَةٍ يَخطُوهَا صيَامُ سَنَة وَقيَامُهَا وَذَلكَ عَلَى الله يَسيرٌ".

"مَنْ غَسَلَ وَاغْتَسَلَ، وَغَدَا وَابْتَكَرَ، وَدَنَا مِن الإِمَامِ وَأَنْصَتَ، وَلَمْ يَلغُ فِي يَوْمِ الجُمُعَةِ، كَتَبَ اللهُ لَهُ بكُلِّ خُطوَة خَطَاهَا إِلَى المَسْجدِ صِيَامَ سَنَة وَقِيَامَهَا".

" عَنْ أوْسِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ مَنْ غَسَّلَ وَاغْتَسَلَ يَوْمَ الجُمُعَةِ، وَبَكر وابْتَكَرَ، وَدَنَا مِنَ الإمَام وَأنْصَتَ، كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطوَة يَخْطُوهَا صِيَامُ سَنَة وَقِيَامُهَا وَذلكَ عَلَى الله يَسِيرٌ".
