Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A woman and her paternal aunt should not be married to the same man; and similarly, a woman and her maternal aunt should not be married to the same man."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يُجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الْمَرْأَةِ وَعَمَّتِهَا وَلاَ بَيْنَ الْمَرْأَةِ وَخَالَتِهَا

One should not combine a woman and her father's sister, nor a woman and her mother's sister in marriage.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ لاَ يُجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الْمَرْأَةِ وَعَمَّتِهَا وَلاَ بَيْنَ الْمَرْأَةِ وَخَالَتِهَا

that Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade combining of four women in marriage: a woman with her father's sister, and a woman with her mother's sister.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ أَرْبَعِ نِسْوَةٍ أَنْ يُجْمَعَ بَيْنَهُنَّ الْمَرْأَةِ وَعَمَّتِهَا وَالْمَرْأَةِ وَخَالَتِهَا

One should not combine in marriage a woman with her father's sister, or her mother's sister.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ تُنْكَحُ الْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى عَمَّتِهَا وَلاَ عَلَى خَالَتِهَا

Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade to combine a woman and her father's sister, and a woman and her mother's sister.

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنْ يُجْمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَرْأَةِ وَعَمَّتِهَا وَبَيْنَ الْمَرْأَةِ وَخَالَتِهَا

Abu Hurairah said “The Apostle of Allah ﷺ forbade that a woman and her maternal aunt and a woman and her paternal aunt are joined in marriage (to the same man).”

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنْ يُجْمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَرْأَةِ وَخَالَتِهَا وَبَيْنَ الْمَرْأَةِ وَعَمَّتِهَا

"The Messenger of Allah said: '(A man should not be married to) a woman and her paternal aunt nor to a woman and her maternal aunt at the same time.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ يُجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الْمَرْأَةِ وَعَمَّتِهَا وَلاَ بَيْنَ الْمَرْأَةِ وَخَالَتِهَا

"The Messenger of Allah forbade (being married to) a woman and her paternal aunt or to a woman and her maternal aunt at the same time."

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنْ يُجْمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَرْأَةِ وَعَمَّتِهَا وَالْمَرْأَةِ وَخَالَتِهَا

a woman and her paternal aunt or a woman and her maternal aunt.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ أَرْبَعِ نِسْوَةٍ يُجْمَعُ بَيْنَهُنَّ الْمَرْأَةِ وَعَمَّتِهَا وَالْمَرْأَةِ وَخَالَتِهَا

"A woman should not be taken as a co-wife to her paternal aunt or her maternal aunt."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لاَ تُنْكَحُ الْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى عَمَّتِهَا وَلاَ عَلَى خَالَتِهَا

"A woman should not be taken as a co-wife to her paternal aunt or her maternal aunt."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لاَ تُنْكَحُ الْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى عَمَّتِهَا وَلاَ عَلَى خَالَتِهَا

"A woman should not be taken as a co-wife to her paternal aunt or her maternal aunt."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ تُنْكَحُ الْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى عَمَّتِهَا وَلاَ عَلَى خَالَتِهَا

"I read a book to Ash-Sha'bi in which it was narrated from Jabir that the Prophet said: 'A woman should not be taken as a co-wife to her paternal aunt or her maternal aunt.' He said: 'I heard that from Jabir.'"

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ تُنْكَحُ الْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى عَمَّتِهَا وَلاَ عَلَى خَالَتِهَا قَالَ سَمِعْتُ هَذَا مِنْ جَابِرٍ

"The Messenger of Allah forbade taking a woman as a co-wife to her paternal aunt or maternal aunt."

سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنْ تُنْكَحَ الْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى عَمَّتِهَا وَخَالَتِهَا

that the Prophet said: “A woman should not be married to a man who is married to her paternal aunt of maternal aunt (at the same time).”

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ تُنْكَحُ الْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى عَمَّتِهَا وَلاَ عَلَى خَالَتِهَا

“I heard the Messenger of Allah forbid two types of marriage: For a man to be married to a woman and her paternal aunt (at the same time), and to a woman and her maternal aunt( at the same time).”

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَنْهَى عَنْ نِكَاحَيْنِ أَنْ يَجْمَعَ الرَّجُلُ بَيْنَ الْمَرْأَةِ وَعَمَّتِهَا وَبَيْنَ الْمَرْأَةِ وَخَالَتِهَا

“The Messenger of Allah said: “A man should not be married to a woman and her paternal aunt or maternal aunt at the same time.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ تُنْكَحُ الْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى عَمَّتِهَا وَلاَ عَلَى خَالَتِهَا

"The Messenger of Allah said: '(A man should not be married to) a woman and her paternal aunt nor to a woman and her maternal aunt at the same time.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3288)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ «نَهَى أَنْ يُجْمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَرْأَةِ وَعَمَّتِهَا وَالْمَرْأَةِ وَخَالَتِهَا»

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿNo woman should be married and become a co-wife to her paternal aunt or her maternal aunt.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تُنْكَحُ الْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى عَمَّتِهَا وَلا عَلَى خَالَتِهَا

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿNo woman should be married and become a co-wife to her paternal aunt or her maternal aunt.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 577)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لَمَّا افْتَتَحَ مَكَّةَ قَالَ لَا تُنْكَحُ الْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى عَمَّتِهَا وَلَا عَلَى خَالَتِهَا

that the Prophet said: “A woman should not be married to a man who is married to her paternal aunt of maternal aunt (at the same time).” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1928)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا تُنْكَحُ الْمَرْأَةُ أَوْ قَالَ لَا تُنْكَحُ الْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى عَمَّتِهَا وَلَا عَلَى خَالَتِهَا

Abu Hurairah said “The Apostle of Allah ﷺ forbade that a woman and her maternal aunt and a woman and her paternal aunt are joined in marriage (to the same man).” (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2066)

[AI] He informed him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited the gathering of a woman with her maternal aunt and between a woman and her paternal aunt.

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى أَنْ يُجْمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَرْأَةِ وَعَمَّتِهَا وَبَيْنَ الْمَرْأَةِ وَخَالَتِهَا

[AI] He informed him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade mixing between a woman and her paternal aunt, and between a woman and her maternal aunt.

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى أَنْ يُجْمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَرْأَةِ وَعَمَّتِهَا وَبَيْنَ الْمَرْأَةِ وَخَالَتِهَا

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A woman and her paternal aunt should not be married to the same man; and similarly, a woman and her maternal aunt should not be married to the same man." (Using translation from Bukhārī 5109)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يُجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الْمَرْأَةِوَعَمَّتِهَا وَلَا الْمَرْأَةِ وَخَالَتِهَا

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ تُزَوَّجَ الْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى عَمَّتِهَا أَوْ عَلَى خَالَتِهَا

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z-Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said "One cannot be married to a woman and her paternal aunt, or a woman and her maternal aunt at the same time."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يُجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الْمَرْأَةِ وَعَمَّتِهَا وَلاَ بَيْنَ الْمَرْأَةِ وَخَالَتِهَا

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbidding a man from being alone with his paternal aunt, and a man from being alone with his maternal aunt. Bukayr ibn Abdullah ibn Ashajj opposed him (the Prophet).

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «يَنْهَى أَنْ يُجْمَعَ» وَقَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ أَنْ يَجْمَعَ الرَّجُلُ بَيْنَ الْمَرْأَةِ وَعَمَّتِهَا وَبَيْنَ الْمَرْأَةِ وَخَالَتِهَا خَالَفَهُ بُكَيْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ
