Ibn 'Umar reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, "None of you should make a man rise from his seat and then sit in it. Rather make room and spread out."

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لاَ يُقِيمَنَّ أَحَدُكُمُ الرَّجُلَ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ وَلَكِنْ تَفَسَّحُوا وَتَوَسَّعُوا

Ibn 'Umar said, "The Prophet ﷺ forbade anyone forcing a man to rise from his seat so that someone else could sit in his place."

عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ نَهَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَنْ يُقِيمَ الرَّجُلَ مِنَ الْمَجْلِسِ ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "A man should not make another man get up from his (the latter's) seat (in a gathering) in order to sit there.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يُقِيمُ الرَّجُلُ الرَّجُلَ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ

None of you should make another one stand in the meeting and then occupy his place.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يُقِيمَنَّ أَحَدُكُمُ الرَّجُلَ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ

No person should ask another person to stand at his place and then he should himself sit there, but he should simply say: Make room and accommodate.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يُقِيمُ الرَّجُلُ الرَّجُلَ مِنْ مَقْعَدِهِ ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ وَلَكِنْ تَفَسَّحُوا وَتَوَسَّعُوا

None should make one'& brother stand and then sit at his place (and it was common with) Ibn Umar that when any person stood in the company (with a view to making room for him) he did not sit there.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يُقِيمَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ فِي مَجْلِسِهِ وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ إِذَا قَامَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ عَنْ مَجْلِسِهِ لَمْ يَجْلِسْ فِيهِ

that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Let one of you not have his brother stand from his seat then sit in it."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يُقِمْ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ

that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Let one of you not have his brother stand from his seat then sit in it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ يُقِمْ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ قَالَ وَكَانَ الرَّجُلُ يَقُومُ لاِبْنِ عُمَرَ فَلاَ يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ

"When one of you gets up from his spot, then comes back, he has more right to it."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا قَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ عَنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A person should not push his brother out of his place and then sit in it, rather you should make room and expand."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَا يُقِيمُ الرَّجُلُ يَعْنِي أَخَاهُ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ يَقْعُدُ فِيهِ وَلَكِنْ تَفَسَّحُوا وَتَوَسَّعُوا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "If one of you stands up or a man from his gathering and then returns to it, he has more right to it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا قَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَوِ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ إِلَيْهِ فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهِ»

[AI] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said: "Two should not have a private conversation (whisper) excluding their companion, and a man should not leave his brother sitting in a gathering and then sit somewhere else."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يَتَنَاجَ اثْنَانِ دُونَ صَاحِبِهِمَا وَلَا يُقِيمُ الرَّجُلُ أَخَاهُ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ

[AI] Narrated by the Prophet (PBUH): When three people gather, two of them should not engage in a private conversation excluding the third person. And no one among you should get up and leave his brother sitting in the assembly, then join back in.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا اجْتَمَعَ ثَلَاثَةٌ فَلَا يَتَنَاجَى اثْنَانِ دُونَ الثَّالِثِ وَلَا يُقِيمَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يُقِيمَنَّ أَحَدُكُمُ الرَّجُلَ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Two individuals should not engage in private conversations excluding a third individual, and a man should not get up from his gathering and then sit in it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَتَنَاجَى اثْنَانِ دُونَ ثَالِثِهِمَا وَلَا يُقِيمُ الرَّجُلُ الرَّجُلَ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ

[AI] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "If any one of you is sitting in the sun, and it becomes too intense for him, then let him change his sitting position."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ جَالِسًا فِي الشَّمْسِ فَقَلَصَتْ عَنْهُ فَلْيَتَحَوَّلْ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ

When anyone amongst you stands up, and in the badltb transmitted on the authority of Abu 'Awina, the words are:" He who stands in his place and (goes away) and then comes back to it, he his the greatest right (to occupy that). (Using translation from Muslim 2179)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا قَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ إِلَيْهِ فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When a man gets up from his sitting position and then returns, he has more right to it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا قَامَ الرَّجُلُ مِنْمَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you gets up from his seat and then returns, he has more right to it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا قَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهِ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said: "A person should not make another person stand up from his place and then sit in it, but rather make room, and Allah will make room for you."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يُقِيمُ الرَّجُلُ الرَّجُلَ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ وَلَكِنْ افْسَحُوا يَفْسَحِ اللهُ لَكُمْ

"When one of you gets up from his spot, then comes back, he has more right to it." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3717)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا قَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "None of you should wish for death."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَتَمَنَّى أَحَدُكُمُ الْمَوْتَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "One should not get up from his brother's gathering and then leave him behind." So, I said to him, "Even on Fridays?" He replied, "On Fridays and other days as well."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا يُقِمْ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ يَخْلُفُهُ فِيهِ» فَقُلْتُ لَهُ إِنَّا فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ قَالَ «فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ وَغَيْرِهَا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When a person stands up from his gathering and then returns to it, he has more right to it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا قَامَ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ إِلَيْهِ فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهِ»

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ ﷺ إذا كان أحدكم جالسا في الشمس فقلصت عنه فليتحول من مجلسه

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A man should not rise from his seat for his brother, except for the Banu Hashim, as they do not rise for anyone."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَقُومُ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ لِأَخِيهِ إِلَّا بَنِي هَاشِمٍ لَا يَقُومُونَ لِأَحَدٍ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "None of you should make his brother get up from his place to sit in his own place."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يُقِيمَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ لِيَجْلِسَ فِي مَكَانِهِ»

[AI] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, "A man should not get up from his seat and then sit in it again."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يُقِيمُ الرَّجُلُ الرَّجُلَ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ

"لا يُقِيمُ الرَّجُلُ الرَّجُلَ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ".
