The Prophet ﷺ offered a two rakʿat prayer on the Day of Id ul Fitr and he did not pray before or after it. Then he went towards women along with Bilal and ordered them to pay alms and so they started giving their earrings and necklaces (in charity).

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ لَمْ يُصَلِّ قَبْلَهَا وَلاَ بَعْدَهَا ثُمَّ أَتَى النِّسَاءَ وَمَعَهُ بِلاَلٌ فَأَمَرَهُنَّ بِالصَّدَقَةِ فَجَعَلْنَ يُلْقِينَ تُلْقِي الْمَرْأَةُ خُرْصَهَا وَسِخَابَهَا

I (in my boyhood) went out with the Prophet ﷺ on the day of ʿId ul Fitr or Id-ul-Adha. The Prophet ﷺ prayed and then delivered the Khutba and then went towards the women, preached and advised them and ordered them to give alms.

خَرَجْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يَوْمَ فِطْرٍ أَوْ أَضْحَى فَصَلَّى ثُمَّ خَطَبَ ثُمَّ أَتَى النِّسَاءَ فَوَعَظَهُنَّ وَذَكَّرَهُنَّ وَأَمَرَهُنَّ بِالصَّدَقَةِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out on 'Id (the festival day). He first offered the prayer and then delivered the sermon . He then went to women, taking Bilal with him. The narrator Ibn Kathir said: The probable opinion of Shu'bah is that he commanded them to give alms. So they began to put (their jewellery).

أَشْهَدُ عَلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَشَهِدَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ خَرَجَ يَوْمَ فِطْرٍ فَصَلَّى ثُمَّ خَطَبَ ثُمَّ أَتَى النِّسَاءَ وَمَعَهُ بِلاَلٌ قَالَ ابْنُ كَثِيرٍ أَكْبَرُ عِلْمِ شُعْبَةَ فَأَمَرَهُنَّ بِالصَّدَقَةِ فَجَعَلْنَ يُلْقِينَ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out on the day of the breaking of the fast and prayed two rak'ahs, before and after which he did not pray. He then went to women, taking Bilal with him, and commanded them to given alms. So one began to put her ear-ring and another her necklace (in the garment of Bilal).

خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ فِطْرٍ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ لَمْ يُصَلِّ قَبْلَهُمَا وَلاَ بَعْدَهُمَا ثُمَّ أَتَى النِّسَاءَ وَمَعَهُ بِلاَلٌ فَأَمَرَهُنَّ بِالصَّدَقَةِ فَجَعَلَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ تُلْقِي خُرْصَهَا وَسِخَابَهَا

[AI] "He witnessed regarding Ibn Abbas and Ibn Abbas witnessed regarding the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he prayed on the day of Eid, then delivered a sermon, then came to the women and commanded them to give charity, so they began throwing it."

أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ عَلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ شَهِدَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ صَلَّى فِي يَوْمِ عِيدٍ ثُمَّ خَطَبَ ثُمَّ أَتَى النِّسَاءَ فَأَمَرَهُنَّ بِالصَّدَقَةِ فَجَعَلْنَ يُلْقِينَ

سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ خَرَجْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يَوْمَ فِطْرٍ أَوْ أَضْحًى فَصَلَّى ثُمَّ خَطَبَ ثُمَّ أَتَى النِّسَاءَ فَوَعَظَهُنَّ وَذَكَّرَهُنَّ وَأَمَرَهُنَّ بِالصَّدَقَةِ

[AI] "I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him. Or Ata' said, 'I bear witness that Ibn Abbas narrated that the Prophetﷺ went out on the day of Eid with his companions, performed prayer, then gave a sermon. He then came to the women and commanded them to give charity, and they began to throw it.'"

أَشْهَدُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَوْ قَالَ عَطَاءٌ أَشْهَدُ عَلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «خَرَجَ يَوْمَ فِطْرٍ فِي أَصْحَابِهِ فَصَلَّى ثُمَّ خَطَبَ ثُمَّ أَتَى النِّسَاءَ فَأَمَرَهُنَّ بِالصَّدَقَةِ فَجَعَلْنَ يُلْقِينَ»

[AI] Ibn Abbas witnessed that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed on the day of Eid, then delivered a sermon, and then went to the women and commanded them to give charity.

«أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ شَهِدَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ صَلَّى فِي يَوْمِ عِيدٍ ثُمَّ خَطَبَ ثُمَّ أَتَى النِّسَاءَ فَأَمَرَهُنَّ بِالصَّدَقَةِ»

[AI] And Ibn Abbas said, "I bear witness that the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , went out on the day of Eid al-Fitr and performed two units of prayer, then he went to the women and Bilal was with him. He commanded them to give charity, and they began to throw it."

وَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ أَشْهَدُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ خَرَجَ يَوْمَ فِطْرٍ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ أَتَى النِّسَاءَ وَمَعَهُ بِلَالٌ «فَأَمَرَهُنَّ بِالصَّدَقَةِ فَجَعَلْنَ يُلْقِينَ»

"عَنِ ابْن عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ خَرَجَ يَوْمَ الْفطْرِ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ لَمْ يُصَلِّ قَبْلَهُمَا وَلا بَعْدَهُمَا، ثُمَّ أَتَى النِّسَاءَ وَمَعَهُ بِلالٌ فَأَمَرَهُمْ بِالصَّدَقَةِ، فَجَعَلَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ تُلقى خُرْصَهَا وَسِخابَهَا (*) ".
