The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite on the two 'Eids and on Friday: "GLorify the Name of Your Lord, the Most High" and "Has there come to you the narration of The Overwhelming?" Sometimes the two ('Eid and Jumu'ah) occurred on the same day, and he would recite them (these two Surahs).

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ وَيَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ بِ { سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى } وَ{ هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ } وَرُبَّمَا اجْتَمَعَا فِي يَوْمٍ وَاحِدٍ فَيَقْرَأُ بِهِمَا

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite: 'Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High' and "Has there come to you the narration of The Overwhelming?', on Friday and on 'Eid, and when Friday and 'Eid converged, he would recite them both."

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ وَالْعِيدِ بِ { سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى } وَ { هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ } وَإِذَا اجْتَمَعَ الْجُمُعَةُ وَالْعِيدُ فِي يَوْمٍ قَرَأَ بِهِمَا

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite in Jumu'ah prayer: 'Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High'(Al-A'la 87) and: 'Has there come to you the narration of the overwhelming (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)?"(Al-Ghashiyah 88)

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي صَلاَةِ الْجُمُعَةِ بِ { سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى } وَ{ هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ }

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite in Witr: "Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High;" and "Say: O you disbelievers!;' and 'Say: He is Allah, (the) One.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْوِتْرِ بِ { سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى } وَ { قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ } وَ { قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ }

That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite in witr: Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High;" and "Say: O you disbelievers!;' and 'Say: He is Allah, (the) One.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْوِتْرِ بِ { سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى } وَ { قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ } وَ { قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ }

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite at the two 'Ids (festivals) and on Friday, "Glorify the name of your most high Lord." (87) and "Has the story of the overwhelming reached you?" (88) He said: When a festival ('Id) and a Friday coincided, he recited them both (at the two prayers).

It was narrated from Nu’man bin Bashir that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite “Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High,” [Al-A’la (87)] and “Has there come to you the narration of the overwhelming?” [Al-Ghashiyah (88)] in the ‘Eid prayer.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ بِ {سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى} وَ {هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ}

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Prophet ﷺ used to recite in the ‘Eid prayer “Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High.” [Al-A’la (87)] and “Has there come to you the narration of the overwhelming?” [Al-Ghashiyah (88)]

It was narrated from Abu ‘Inabah Al-Khawlani that the Prophet ﷺ used to recite “Glorify the Name of your Lord the Most High” and “Has there come to you the narration of the overwhelming (i.e., the Day of Resurrection)? [Al-A’la (87) and Al-Ghashiyah (88)] on Friday.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ بِ {سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى} وَ {هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ}

The Prophet ﷺ recited "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High" (Aala) and "Has there come to you the narration of the Overwhelming?" (Ghashiyah) during the two Eid prayers. If Eid coincided with Friday, he recited both of them.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَرَأَ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ بِسَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى وَهَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ وَإِنْ وَافَقَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَرَأَهُمَا جَمِيعًا

عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُوتِرُ بِسَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى وَقُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونُ وَقُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ

عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُوتِرُ بِسَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى وَقُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ وَقُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ

عَلَيه وَسَلَّم كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ بِـ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى وَ هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نعلَمُ أحَدًا رَوَاهُ عَنْ سِمَاك إلاَّ حَمَّادُ بْنُ سلمة

اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم يوتر بـ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى و قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ و قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ

"عن عبد الملك بن عمير قال: حُدِّثت عن عمر أَنَّه كان يقرأ في العيدِ بـ {سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى}، و {هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ} ".
