In a company of three, two should not speak privately leaving out the third in their presence

the Prophet ﷺ said, "When there are three persons, then two of them should not speak privately excluding the third."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «إِذَا كَانُوا ثَلاَثَةٌ فَلاَ يَتَنَاجَى اثْنَانِ دُونَ الثَّالِثِ۔»

When there are three (persons), two should not converse secretly between themselves to the exclusion of the (third) one.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا كَانَ ثَلاَثَةٌ فَلاَ يَتَنَاجَى اثْنَانِ دُونَ وَاحِدٍ

Malik related to me from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Two must not converse secretly to the exclusion of another person."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا كَانَ ثَلاَثَةٌ فَلاَ يَتَنَاجَى اثْنَانِ دُونَ وَاحِدٍ

"When you are three, two should not converse (privately) to the exclusion of their companion, because that makes him sad." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3775)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا كُنْتُمْ ثَلَاثَةً فَلَا يَتَنَاجَ اثْنَانِ دُونَ وَاحِدٍ

[Machine] The translation of the given sentence is:

"The Messenger of Allahﷺ used to forbid when there were three individuals that two should hold a private conversation excluding the third."

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَنْهَى إِذَا كَانَ ثَلَاثَةُ نَفَرٍ أَنْ يَتَنَاجَى اثْنَانِ دُونَ الثَّالِثِ

ابْنُ عُمَرَ اسْتَأْخِرَا فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا كَانُوا ثَلَاثَةً فَلَا يَتَنَاجَى اثْنَانِ دُونَ وَاحِدٍ

"When you are three, two should not converse (privately) to the exclusion of their companion, because that makes him sad." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3775)

'Abdullah reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When there are three people, two should not converse together to the exclusion of the third."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا كَانُوا ثَلاَثَةً فَلاَ يَتَنَاجَى اثْنَانِ دُونَ الثَّالِثِ

اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا كُنْتُمْ ثَلَاثَةً فَلَا يَتَنَاجَى اثْنَانِ دُونَ الثَّالِثِ

اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ إِذَا كَانُوا ثَلاثَةً فَلاَ يَتَنَاجَى اثْنَانِ دُونَ الثَّالِث وَإِذَا كَانُوا ثلاثة في سفر فليؤمهم أحدهم

the Prophet ﷺ said "When three persons are together, then no two of them should hold secret counsel excluding the third person." (Using translation from Bukhārī 6288)

"إذا كانَ نفرٌ ثلاثةٌ فلا يتناجَى اثْنانِ دونَ الثَّالثِ".
