So I recited Surat-an- Nisa' till I reached: "How (will it be) then when We bring from each nation a witness, and We bring you (O Muhammad) as a witness against these people?" (4.41) Then he said, "Stop!" And behold, his eyes were overflowing with tears." (Using translation from Bukhārī 4582)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah (may ﷺ ) said: "Recite upon me." So I said: "Shall I recite upon you while it is revealed upon you?" He said: "Yes, recite." So I recited Surah An-Nisa until I reached the verse: "So how [will it be] when We bring from every nation a witness and we bring you, [O Muhammad] against these [people] as a witness?" (Quran 4:41) He said: "That is enough." Then he turned away and tears were flowing from his eyes.
