[Machine] He recited to the Prophet ﷺ until he came to this Verse: "How (will it be) then, when We bring from each nation a witness and We bring you (O Muhammad) as a witness against these people?" (4:41). The Messenger of Allah ﷺ cried and said in the Hadith: "Whoever wants to recite the Qur'an as it was revealed, let him recite it in the recitation of Ibn 'Umm 'Abd".  

الطبراني:٨٤٦٢حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمَعْمَرِيُّ ثنا أَبُو كَامِلٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ ثنا الْمُفَضَّلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْكُوفِيُّ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُهَاجِرٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ

أَنَّهُ قَرَأَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ حَتَّى أَتَى عَلَى هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ {فَكَيْفَ إِذَا جِئْنَا مِنْ كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ بِشَهِيدٍ وَجِئْنَا بِكَ عَلَى هَؤُلَاءِ شَهِيدًا} قَالَ فَبَكَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَقَالَ فِي الْحَدِيثِ «مَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَقْرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ غَضًّا كَمَا أُنْزِلَ فَلْيَقْرَأْهُ عَلَى قِرَاءَةِ ابْنِ أُمِّ عَبْدٍ»

So I recited Surat-an- Nisa' till I reached: "How (will it be) then when We bring from each nation a witness, and We bring you (O Muhammad) as a witness against these people?" The Prophet ﷺ said to me, "Recite Qur'an to me." I said to him. "Shall I recite (it) to you while it has been revealed to you?" He said, "I like to hear it from another person." (Using translation from Bukhārī 5056)

[Machine] "To me, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Recite the Quran to me.' I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, how can I recite it to you when it was revealed upon you?' He said, 'I desire to hear it from someone other than myself.' So I began reciting Surah An-Nisa to him, and when I reached the verse 'So how [will it be] when We bring from every nation a witness and we bring you, [O Muhammad] against these [people] as a witness?' [Quran 4:41] He looked at me and his eyes were filled with tears."

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ asked me to read Surah An-Nisa while he was on the pulpit. I continued reading until I reached the verse "So how [will it be] when We bring from every nation a witness and we bring you, [O Muhammad], against these [people] as a witness?" The eyes of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ filled with tears, and he said, "Whoever wants to recite the Quran as it was revealed, should recite it according to the recitation of Ibn 'Ummi 'Abd."

اسْتَقْرَأَنِي النَّبِيُّ ﷺ سُورَةَ النِّسَاءِ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَقَرَأْتُهُ حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغْتُ {فَكَيْفَ إِذَا جِئْنَا مِنْ كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ بِشَهِيدٍ وَجِئْنَا بِكَ عَلَى هَؤُلَاءِ شَهِيدًا} اغْرَوْرَقَتْ عَيْنَا رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَقَالَ «مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَقْرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ كَمَا أُنْزِلَ فَلْيَقْرَأْهُ عَلَى قِرَاءَةِ ابْنِ أُمِّ عَبْدٍ»
