[Machine] I heard Anas bin Malik say, "Abu Talhah used to not fast during the time of the Prophet ﷺ. After the Prophet ﷺ passed away, I never saw him break his fast except on the day of Eid al-Fitr or Eid al-Adha."  

البيهقي:٨٤٨٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي بِهَمَذَانَ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ثنا آدَمُ ثنا شُعْبَةُ ثنا ثَابِتٌ الْبُنَانِيُّ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ كَانَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ لَا يَصُومُ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَلَمَّا قُبِضَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لَمْ أَرَهُ مُفْطِرًا إِلَّا يَوْمَ فِطْرٍ أَوْ أَضْحَى

In the life-time of the Prophet, Abu Talha did not fast because of the Jihad, but after the Prophet ﷺ died I never saw him without fasting except on ʿId-ul-Fitr and ʿId-ul-Aclha.
