[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to command the Mu'adhin when it was a cold and rainy night, saying, "Do not say the adhan in the masjid, but say it in the tents." This is mentioned in the hadith of Yahya, and in the hadith of Shafi'i, it is narrated from Ibn Umar that he said, "He (the Prophet) gave the adhan and the rest is the same."

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَأْمُرُ الْمُؤَذِّنَ إِذَا كَانَتْ لَيْلَةٌ بَارِدَةٌ ذَاتُ مَطَرٍ يَقُولُ أَلَا صَلُّوا فِي الرِّحَالِ لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ يَحْيَى وَفِي حَدِيثِ الشَّافِعِيِّ قَالَ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ إِنَّهُ أُذِّنَ وَالْبَاقِي سَوَاءٌ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar called the adhan on a cold and windy night and included the phrase, "Do the prayer in shelter." Then he said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to orderthe muadhdhin to say, 'Do the prayerin shelter' when it was a cold, rainy night "  

مالك:٣-١١ – حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ

أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ أَذَّنَ بِالصَّلاَةِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ ذَاتِ بَرْدٍ وَرِيحٍ فَقَالَ أَلاَ صَلُّوا فِي الرِّحَالِ ثُمَّ قَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَأْمُرُ الْمُؤَذِّنَ إِذَا كَانَتْ لَيْلَةٌ بَارِدَةٌ ذَاتُ مَطَرٍ يَقُولُ أَلاَ صَلُّوا فِي الرِّحَالِ
