Jabir b. 'Abdullah related that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, and he related like this.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Anas through another chain of transmitters.

عَنْ أَنَسٍ بِنَحْوِهِ

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of 'Ata' b. Yasir through another chain of transmitters.

عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ نَحْوَهُ

The above mentioned tradition has also been transmitted in a similar manner by Ibn 'Abbas from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Al-Bara’ (b. ‘Azib) from the prophet (May peace be upon him) through a different chain of narrators is a similar way.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

"That the Prophet ordered." And he mentioned similarly.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَمَرَ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

"When the son of Adam wakes up in the morning, all of his body parts bow to the tongue and say: 'Fear Allah regarding us, we are only part of you. If you are straight we are straight and if you are crooked we are crooked."

إِذَا أَصْبَحَ ابْنُ آدَمَ فَإِنَّ الأَعْضَاءَ كُلَّهَا تُكَفِّرُ اللِّسَانَ فَتَقُولُ اتَّقِ اللَّهَ فِينَا فَإِنَّمَا نَحْنُ بِكَ فَإِنِ اسْتَقَمْتَ اسْتَقَمْنَا وَإِنِ اعْوَجَجْتَ اعْوَجَجْنَا

"I came to the Messenger of Allah" and he mentioned something similar. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4176)

أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: He then mentioned the rest of the tradition to the same effect as mentioned by Sufyan. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4540)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ الْحَدِيثِ

[AI] Regarding Ibn Abbas, he mentioned it.

عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فَذَكَرَهُ

"When the son of Adam wakes up in the morning, all of his body parts bow to the tongue and say: 'Fear Allah regarding us, we are only part of you. If you are straight we are straight and if you are crooked we are crooked." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2407)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَهُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

يَقُولُقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

[AI] About Abu Sa'id, he mentioned something similar to it.

عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

[AI] Anas mentioned something similar to it.

عَنْ أَنَسٍ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: He then mentioned the rest of the tradition to the same effect as mentioned by Sufyan. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4540)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, and he mentioned something similar to it.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "So he mentioned something similar to it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "He who does not enter the Fire (Hell), similar to it is mentioned."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَلِجُ النَّارَ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

[AI] Narrated to us Isa ibn Yunus, who mentioned it similarly.

حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

[AI] Hamad ibn Salama narrated and mentioned something similar.

حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ فَذَكَرَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "So he mentioned its likeness."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said and mentioned something similar to it.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said and mentioned something similar.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] About his father, so he mentioned something similar to it.

عَنْ أَبِيهِ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

"When the son of Adam wakes up in the morning, all of his body parts bow to the tongue and say: 'Fear Allah regarding us, we are only part of you. If you are straight we are straight and if you are crooked we are crooked." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2407)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَهُ

his father said: I heard Messenger of Allah saying: "There are no two Witr in one night." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 470)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا وِتْرَانِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said and mentioned the like of it.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned him like himself, equal.

رَسُولُ الله ﷺ فَذَكَرَهُ مِثْلَهُ سَوَاءً

[AI] About Aisha, he mentioned something similar to it.

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

[AI] About Mus'ab ibn Sa'd, he mentioned him without mentioning the judge.

عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ الْحَكَمَ

[AI] A partner praised him in his own way.

ثنا شَرِيكٌ فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِ

[AI] About Hisham ibn Saad, he mentioned it in a similar manner.

عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِ

[AI] Regarding Salman, he mentioned him in a similar manner.

عَنْ سَلْمَانَ فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِ

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, "Witr (odd number of units for prayer) is a right (obligation)." So he mentioned it in this way and they left it.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْوِتْرُ حَقٌّ» فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِعدي تركوه

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Witr (the nightly odd numbered prayer) is a right (that it should be performed)." Then the narrated something similar.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الْوِتْرُ حَقٌّ» فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Witr (odd-numbered prayers) is a right, so whoever does not perform Witr is not among us."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الْوِتْرُ حَقٌّ فَمَنْ لَمْ يُوتِرْ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا»

[AI] "From Hisham ibn Urwah, so he mentioned it."

عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ فَذَكَرَهُ

[AI] "Narrated by Abu Salamah, he mentioned it in its wording."

عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِ

Qays ibn Talq said: Talq ibn Ali visited us on a certain day during Ramadan. He remained with us till evening and broke fast with us. He then stood up and led us in the witr prayer. He then went to his mosque and led them in prayer. When the witr remained, he put forward another man and said: Lead your companions in the witr prayer, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: There are no two witrs during one night. قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا وِتْرَانِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ»

[AI] About Sufyan, so he mentioned them.

عَنْ سُفْيَانَ فَذَكَرَهُنَّ

[AI] Hasan ibn Musa praised him.

ثنا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى فَذَكَرَهُ

[AI] Hammad bin Zaid praised him and mentioned him.

ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ فَذَكَرَهُ

[AI] Sufyan mentioned it.

ثنا سُفْيَانُ فَذَكَرَهُ

[AI] "About Al-Hasan, so he mentioned it."

عَنِ الْحَسَنِ فَذَكَرَهُ

[AI] Sufyan narrated it.
