35. Wills and Testimony
٣٥۔ كِتَابُ الْوَصَايَا
[Machine] Umar says, "If I were to leave a will or make a covenant with someone, I would entrust it to Al-Zubayr ibn Al-Awwam; indeed, he is one of the pillars of the religion."
عُمَرَ يَقُولُ لَوْ تَرَكْتُ تَرِكَةً أَوْ عَهِدْتُ عَهْدًا إِلَى أَحَدٍ لَعَهِدْتُ إِلَى الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ؛ إِنَّهُ رُكْنٌ مِنْ أَرْكَانِ الدِّينِ
[Machine] Regarding this, Zaynab said, "Do not embrace him," meaning do not veil him or separate him from her. Abu Ubayd Al-Qasim narrated this.
عَنْ ذَلِكَ زَيْنَبُ قَوْلُهُ لَا تُحْضَنُ يَعْنِي لَا تُحْجَبُ عَنْهُ وَلَا يُقْطَعُ دُونَهَا قَالَهُ أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ الْقَاسِمُ
