35. Wills and Testimony
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I and the caretaker of an orphan will be like these two in Paradise." He said this while pointing with his index finger and the one next to it.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I and the guardian of an orphan will be in Paradise like these two," and the Prophet ﷺ pointed with his middle finger and the one next to the thumb.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The one who takes care of widows and the poor is like a warrior in the path of Allah, and like the one who fasts during the day and stands in prayer during the night."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I and the caretaker of an orphan will be like this in Paradise," and Sufyan gestured with his two fingers. Al-Humaidi said, It was said to Sufyan, "Indeed, Abdur Rahman ibn Mahdi says that Sufyan is more accurate in this hadith than Malik." Sufyan said, "And how would he know if Safwan has reached him?" They said, "No, but he said that Malik narrated it from Safwan, from Ata ibn Yasar, and Sufyan narrated it from Unaisah, from Umm Sa'id ibn Murr, from her father. From where did he get this chain of narration?" Sufyan said, "How good is what he said! If Safwan had said it to us from Ata ibn Yasar, it would have been easier for us than to come with this strong chain of narration."
Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The one who looks after and works for a widow and for a poor person is like a warrior fighting for Allah's Cause." (The narrator Al-Qa'nabi is not sure whether he also said "Like the one who prays all the night without slackness and fasts continuously and never breaks his fast.") (Using translation from Bukhārī 6007)
