[Machine] That Safiyyah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ , said to her Jewish brother, "Convert to Islam so that you can inherit me." When his people heard about this, they said, "Are you selling your religion for worldly gains?" He refused to convert. So she bequeathed to him one-third (of her inheritance).
[Machine] The narrator said that Aisha, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, informed him that Safiyyah, the daughter of Huwayy ibn Akhtab, had bequeathed one thousand dinars to her nephew, who was a Jew. She also bequeathed one thousand dinars to Aisha. She appointed Abdullah ibn Ja'far as the executor of her will. When her nephew heard about this, he converted to Islam in order to inherit her, but he did not inherit her and sought what was bequeathed to him. He found that Ibn Abdullah had corrupted it. Aisha said, "May he be miserable! Give him the one thousand dinars that his aunt bequeathed to me." It was narrated from Ibn Umar that Safiyyah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, may Allah be pleased with her, had bequeathed to her Jewish relative.
