[Machine] Umar says, "If I were to leave a will or make a covenant with someone, I would entrust it to Al-Zubayr ibn Al-Awwam; indeed, he is one of the pillars of the religion."  

البيهقي:١٢٦٥٩ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ بِبَغْدَادَ أنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ دَرَسْتَوَيْهِ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْغَفَّارِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْمَوْصِلِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ أَوْصَى إِلَى الزُّبَيْرِ ؓ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ وَالْمِقْدَادُ بْنُ الْأَسْوَدِ وَمُطِيعُ بْنُ الْأَسْوَدِ ؓ فَقَالَ لِمُطِيعٍ لَا أَقْبَلُ وَصِيَّتَكَ فَقَالَ لَهُ مُطِيعٌ أَنْشُدُكَ اللهَ وَالرَّحِمَ وَاللهِ مَا أَتَّبِعُ فِي ذَلِكَ إِلَّا رَأْيَ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ؛ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ

عُمَرَ يَقُولُ لَوْ تَرَكْتُ تَرِكَةً أَوْ عَهِدْتُ عَهْدًا إِلَى أَحَدٍ لَعَهِدْتُ إِلَى الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ؛ إِنَّهُ رُكْنٌ مِنْ أَرْكَانِ الدِّينِ
