[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ and Bahz, he said: Salim bin Hayyan informed us that Saeed narrated to us from Abu Hurairah who narrated from the Prophet ﷺ who said, "Fasting is a shield. So if one of you is fasting, then let him not indulge in obscene speech or act foolishly. If someone reviles him or fights with him, let him say: 'Indeed, I am fasting.' Bahz said: If someone reviles him or fights with him, let him say: 'Indeed, I am fasting.' Similarly, Affan said: If someone reviles him or fights with him, let him say: 'Indeed, I am fasting.'"  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَبَهْزٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سَلِيمُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الصَّوْمُ جُنَّةٌ وَإِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ يَوْمًا صَائِمًا فَلَا يَرْفُثْ وَلَا يَجْهَلْ فَإِنْ أَحَدٌ شَتَمَهُ أَوْ فَإِنْ امْرُؤٌ شَتَمَهُ فَلْيَقُلْ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ قَالَ بَهْزٌ فَإِنْ امْرُؤٌ شَتَمَهُ أَوْ قَاتَلَهُ فَلْيَقُلْ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ وَكَذَا قَالَ عَفَّانُ أَوْ قَاتَلَهُ
