When any one of you gets up in the morning in the state of fasting, he should neither use obscene language nor do any act of ignorance. And if anyone slanders him or quarrels with him, he should say:" I am fasting, I am fasting."

إِذَا أَصْبَحَ أَحَدُكُمْ يَوْمًا صَائِمًا فَلاَ يَرْفُثْ وَلاَ يَجْهَلْ فَإِنِ امْرُؤٌ شَاتَمَهُ أَوْ قَاتَلَهُ فَلْيَقُلْ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ

The Prophet ﷺ as saying: Fast is a shield ; when one of you is fasting, he should neither behave in an obscene manner nor foolishly. If a man fights or abuses him, he should say: I am fasting, I am fasting.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ الصِّيَامُ جُنَّةٌ إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ صَائِمًا فَلاَ يَرْفُثْ وَلاَ يَجْهَلْ فَإِنِ امْرُؤٌ قَاتَلَهُ أَوْ شَاتَمَهُ فَلْيَقُلْ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ

“When anyone of you is fasting, let him not utter evil or ignorant speech. If anyone speaks to him in an ignorant manner, let him say: ‘I am fasting.’”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ صَوْمِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلاَ يَرْفُثْ وَلاَ يَجْهَلْ فَإِنْ جَهِلَ عَلَيْهِ أَحَدٌ فَلْيَقُلْ إِنِّي امْرُؤٌ صَائِمٌ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z Zinad from al-A'raj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Fasting is a protection for you, so when you are fasting, do not behave obscenely or foolishly, and if any one argues with you or abuses you, say, 'I am fasting. I am fasting.' "

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ الصِّيَامُ جُنَّةٌ فَإِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ صَائِمًا فَلاَ يَرْفُثْ وَلاَ يَجْهَلْ فَإِنِ امْرُؤٌ قَاتَلَهُ أَوْ شَاتَمَهُ فَلْيَقُلْ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "If it is day of fasting for any of you, let him not engage in sexual relations nor shout or raise his voice. And if anyone insults him or fights with him, let him say: 'Indeed, I am fasting.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ صَوْمِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلَا يَرْفُثْ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَلَا يَصْخَبْ فَإِنْ سَابَّهُ أَحَدٌ أَوْ قَاتَلَهُ فَلْيَقُلْ إِنِّي امْرُؤٌ صَائِمٌ إِنِّي امْرُؤٌ صَائِمٌ

“When anyone of you is fasting, let him not utter evil or ignorant speech. If anyone speaks to him in an ignorant manner, let him say: ‘I am fasting.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1691)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ صَوْمِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلَا يَرْفُثْ وَلَا يَ جْهَلْ فَإِنْ جَهِلَ عَلَيْهِ أَحَدٌ فَلْيَقُلْ إِنِّي امْرُؤٌ صَائِمٌ»

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "If it is the day of fasting for any one of you, then let him not indulge in sexual relations or ignorant behavior. If anyone tries to provoke or annoy him, he should simply say, 'I am fasting.'"

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ صَوْمِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلَا يَرْفُثْ وَلَا يَجْهَلْ فَإِنْ جُهِلَ عَلَيْهِ فَلْيَقُلْ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ

[Machine] "On the authority of the Prophet, ﷺ , he said: When it is the day of fasting for any of you, then let him avoid obscenities and ignorance. If anyone abuses him or continues to be ignorant, then let him say, 'I am fasting.'"

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ صَوْمِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلَا يَرْفُثْ وَلَا يَجْهَلْ فَإِنْ جُهِلَ عَلَيْهِ فَلْيَقُلْ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "When one of you is fasting, let him not engage in obscene speech or behave foolishly. If someone insults or provokes him, let him say, 'Verily, I am fasting.'"

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you is fasting, let him neither indulge in obscene language nor raise his voice in anger. And if someone reviles him or picks a fight with him, let him say, 'I am fasting.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ صِيَامِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلَا يَرْفُثْ وَلَا يَصْخَبْ فَإِنْ شَاتَمَهُ أَحَدٌ أَوْ قَاتَلَهُ فَلْيَقُلْ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ»

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Fasting is a shield, so when any one of you is fasting, let him neither indulge in obscene language nor raise his voice in anger. If someone attacks him or insults him, let him say, 'I am fasting.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الصِّيَامَ جُنَّةٌ فَإِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ صَائِمًا فَلَا يَرْفُثْ وَلَا يَجْهَلْ فَإِنِ امْرُؤٌ قَاتَلَهُ أَوْ شَاتَمَهُ فَلْيَقُلْ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ

اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم إذا كان يوم صوم أحدكم فلا يرفث ولاَ يفسق فإن جهل عليه أحد فليقل إني امرؤ صائم

اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم الصيام جنة فإذا كان أحدكم صائما فلا يرفث ولاَ يجهل وَإن امرؤ شاتمه فليقل إني امرؤ صائم

اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الصيام جنة فإذا كان أحدكم يوما صائما فلا يرفث ولا يجهل فإن امرؤ قاتله أو شتمه فليقل إني صائم

قال إذا كان يوم يصوم أحدكم فلا يرفث ولا يجهل فإن جهل عليه أحد فليقل إني صائم

اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا كان أحدكم صائما فلا يرفث يومئذ ولا يجهل فإن امرؤ قاتله أو شتمه فليقل إني صائمحميد بن عبد الرحمن

"إذا كانَ يوْمُ صومِ أحدِكُمْ فلا يرْفُثْ ولا يَجْهلْ، فإِن امرؤٌ شاتَمَهُ أو قاتَلَه فليَقُل: إنِّي صائمٌ إنِّي صائمٌ" .
