“Wine comes from these two trees: The date palm and the grapevine.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3378)
أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقُولُ الْخَمْرُ مِنْ هَاتَيْنِ الشَّجَرَتَيْنِ مِنَ النَّخْلَةِ وَالْعِنَبَةِ
“Wine comes from these two trees: The date palm and the grapevine.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3378)

Wine is prepared from the (fruit) of these two trees-date-palm and vine.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْخَمْرُ مِنْ هَاتَيْنِ الشَّجَرَتَيْنِ النَّخْلَةِ وَالْعِنَبَةِ
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira through a different chain of transmitters.
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الْخَمْرُ مِنْ هَاتَيْنِ الشَّجَرَتَيْنِ النَّخْلَةِ وَالْعِنَبَةِ
"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Khamr comes from these two.'" Suwaid (one of the narrators) said: "From these two trees: The date palm and the grapevine."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْخَمْرُ مِنْ هَاتَيْنِ وَقَالَ سُوَيْدٌ فِي هَاتَيْنِ الشَّجَرَتَيْنِ النَّخْلَةُ وَالْعِنَبَةُ
"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Khamr comes from these two trees: The date palm and the grapevine.'"
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْخَمْرُ مِنْ هَاتَيْنِ الشَّجَرَتَيْنِ النَّخْلَةُ وَالْعِنَبَةُ
Wine comes from these two trees, the date-palm and the grapes-vine. Abu Dawud said : The name of Abu KAthir al-Ubari is Yazid b. ‘Abd al-Rahman b. Ghufailat al-Sahmi. Some said: Uzainah. What is correct is Ghufailah.

That he heard Abu Hurairah saying that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Khamr comes from these two trees (plants): The datepalm and the grape (vine)."
